Danny needs to tell Josh this is unacceptable, will not be tolerated.

Getting blown out by Vandy at home should NEVER be acceptable, even in a "rebuilding year." I don't care how good Vandy is, there is no reason, other than coaching that their entire defense is better than ours, or that their O-line is better. I don't want to hear about the CB injuries, that's not even the biggest issue, they are just running down our throats, and Tim Bank keeps blitzing LB's like an idiot.

Look, we all know Vandy does not have the talent we have, so you have to blame coaching. I got flamed when I made my post about Josh after the Oklahoma loss, maybe now you see what I'm talking about. Look, if Coaching changes are not made, if he does not raid the transfer portal for players on D, Josh needs to be fired. Stop telling me there are no serious coaching problems, a program like Tennessee should NEVER EVER get blown out at HOME by Vandy.
Ya’ll better get used to it.
I’m afraid vandy got a little taste of success and realized “hey, this NIL thing can be fun!”

Yeah, the Vols losing to Vandy in that fashion sucked. Doing so on Shields Watkins Field sucks even more. So, VN’s FF denizens demand heads. But, why stop with Tim Banks?

Is not Tim Banks a member of CJH’s staff? Wasn’t CJH hired by Danny White? Wasn’t Danny White hired by Donde Plowman?

Fire everyone! Clean house! Start fresh from the top down! Yes, the impact on the university and its sports programs will be devastating, but VN’s prolific posters will feel vindicated!

Fortunately, VN’s FF hysteria carries no weight IRL. Let’s turn our attention to basketball.

I’m sure White will address this. Heupel went to bat for Banks last spring for a 3 yr contract. DW ain’t happy having to pay $4mil if they fire him(they should).

Look on the field. It is talent. We have nothing at defensive tackle. Defensive end is spotty. Linebacker is not elite. Safety is bad. Corner is too. 4 & 15 & 27 are players, but they are all 1st year. Telander is particularly bad in space. We are not good. We played to our best ability. We need kids with better ability.

But at what point does it become a matter of the talent is being mismanaged and not developed? When do we look at those in charge of recruiting them and say they are either recruiting the wrong players for the system or they are terrible developers of talent?

So how would changing coaches again, as some of more challenged "fans" are suggesting, alleviate this problem? There may need to be some tweaks to the staff, and some continuity to the QB position, but we have a blue chip class coming in with upgrades about everywhere. If we have the same results next year, then the seat should get warmer, not this year. If Aguilar could get that extra year, and maybe Merklinger hit the portal, we would be better. With what Joey did with almost no time practicing the system before the season, imagine what he could do with a full spring, summer AND fall camp to get in rhythm with the receivers. Vanderbilt has been dominate in several games this year. Without Pavia, the would be mediocre at best.
