Say it louder for the people in the back!! People are blind if they can’t see it.I’ve watched football for a while. It’s been bad forever, and I’ve said so. This was the same crew that called OPI against Brazzell against MSU. I was at that game, and it was almost a game-changing call. The line at this level is razor thin. So many close games and situations. I’ve also stated it in many wins. If you don’t think the conference/networks want certain outcomes, then more power to you. The Vandy OL couldn’t really block our DL much without grabbing or turning them. Just break it down and watch. Don’t just watch the ball.
There were 4 egregious (being conservative) non calls on holds on top of the others (also the roughing call on Pavia v. non call on Joey). These are all subjective calls on huge plays. A false start can’t be subjective. It’s literally a billion dollar business.
A wise man once said that being indifferent is worse than the crime itself. People are free to think what they want. Now, comparing me to a spoiled child? Gold. I like this place to be an outlet for the real world, but it’s kind of gotten insufferable at times. Ready to take another few weeks off. Hope everyone has a great holiday season.
I’m actually okay with McCoy, seems he’s been around the team and been a positive influence. When he walks across the stage in April, he’ll have “Tennessee” by his name and that’s worth more than any NIL and facility costs we incurred this season. But the Boo stuff is bad.I’m glad we allowed Boo to be paid handsomely for minimal effort and kill our locker room. And we allowed McCoy to use our facilities to train and get paid all year. I think our players ran over our coach and it showed on the field. Need coaches with back bones and not ones who want to be best friends with players. This team screamed of no accountability
No excuses for Heupel, but restrictions are not gone. You're wrong on that. We're on probation until summer of '28.It’s amazing. Keep posting this article instead of actually engaging with anyone.
Yes Heupel was initially dealt some restrictions. It is year 5 and that is gone. He’s had top 10 program/NIL buy in. 8-4 in year 5 is unacceptable to 80-90% of fans.
You’re part of the 10-20% who will be ok with mediocrity. Clark Lea had to build from much worse and he spanked our ass.
Are you going to leave your head up your ass till spring?Alright, that's it for a few months. Thank you to the emotionally stable fans in here. To the rest of you, remember to put your socks on before your shoes and to color inside the lines.
Go vols!
They mentioned in the broadcast that he is retiring after this season.View attachment 793881

Ref in the bama/barn game is Matt Loeffler. Big time ties to Texas university.
Joey has peaked. His arm isn’t strong and gives you decent but not spectacular QB play. As the season went along, he started to fizzle out. Grateful for what he did this year, but give that 2 mil to some other QB looking for a change of scenery.I confess - didn’t see that coming and didn’t believe we’d lose until we failed to stop that 3rd and 6 early in the 4th
I’m over it - life goes on. I resolved long ago not to let football games ruin my weekend. 8-4 is where I thought we’d be this year- rebuilding year.
That said, getting blown out at home by Vandy is inexcusable and we need to fire the defensive staff. The defense this year was awful. The five years of Tim Banks have been largely underwhelming, last year notwithstanding.
Get Joey back in 2026, and pair him with a competent defense and I think we have another fun year.
I wouldn’t be opposed to Sellers if he would listen. I think he’d excel under Heupel’s system. Far better than he’s doing under Butch 2.0.Joey has peaked. His arm isn’t strong and gives you decent but not spectacular QB play. As the season went along, he started to fizzle out. Grateful for what he did this year, but give that 2 mil to some other QB looking for a change of scenery.
I would be ok, not thrilled, with giving him a chance with the young talent we have and the guys we got coming in but like I said earlier I would much rather we go and hire a real DC.Terrible. Inge unit is horrid. Why would we want him to handle our defense? He needs to go
Agree totally, you are spot on, if Banks could scheme, this was a good year to prove it. Tonight’s game was just embarrassing on the defensive side.
Dude just stop. I am not blaming Heupel but he needs to do some soul searching about his coaching staff major changes needed in defense big time and also please go find someone who can actually coach special teams as wellYou're a lazy, emotional fan whose understanding doesn't go further than basic strategy. Read the bottom of this article 1000 times until you fully comprehend it. If you don't know how to read, get a grown up to help you.

That’s basically my stance on JA and why I said I hope he doesn’t really try to come back next year. He was a good gap fill but we need to focus on the future (GMac & FB). JA settled in to who he really was throughout the year. Good not great. Appreciative for what he gave us with what Nico tried to pull.Joey has peaked. I just don't see it that way Possum. I'll drop it, but we need to come up with something besides we only lose because of officiating in every single sport we play. Sometimes we get beat. If I thought the conference was against the Vols, who by the way bring in top tier money, I would never watch another game. I just don't think we are the victim in some grand conspiracy by the SEC to hold us down. I do think our defense is terrible and why we lost the game. No more defending refs for me tonight as you all can keep beating the drum. What is wrong with you tonight?
People are mad and you want to do a therapy session.
Refs cheat. They cheat in the NBA, NFL, Soccer, Womens ball, and in college sports. When you add in the official being a former player or alumni from a school with a long history of cheating, then you need to let it go. Stop telling people they're like "spoiled kids". The bias against the VOLS in this conference is obvious.
