He’s alright. Nothing great. I’m glad we got Heupel before anyone thought he was any good. It’s nice to have your rivals talking about you again and nervous before our game. He’s not perfect by any means but I never go into any game thinking we don’t have a shot to win.

He either wants to be here or he doesn’t.
If he’s actually being pursued by other’s then like Drink and Lea it means a contract extension and raise and puts to bed any doubts about him being here.
Or
He leaves.
I want a coach that is all in at UT. Not a Kiffin who you gotta wonder about every year.

He definitely doesn’t scream Kiffin to me. He seems committed, which is why I do think he stays. But I wouldn’t mind seeing a headline that he got a bit of a raise just for the easement of my pessimism and worry.

A normal week this game would get a lot of coverage by talking heads, but ive noticed its been almost completely ignored. Vandy has a chance for the playoffs. This is the best game on paper in the history of this in state rival and most of these shows wont give it more than 3 minutes.

I think the media wants to minimize our game because they dont want Vandy to have the juice to make the playoffs

Rumors they were interested in Heup but he doesn’t wanna leave.

Who will that be? Which UT alum is a high ceiling coach like Kirby Smart who will take the job? I think it’s a pipe dream waiting for some mythical die hard UT bleeding Orange coach who will win championships here and never forsake us. We had that with Fulmer and it ran its course.

He wants to be here. People with no ties to any of this are saying PSU reached out and he wasn’t interested

This will probably get moved but education at the public level has suffered and statistically became worse the instant the department of education was established. Politics has no place in education. Our kids have suffered since that department made school a battleground instead of a place to read, learn science, and math.
