No it’s not the pinnacle of education it’s just small things like that being taken away more and more from education over time leads to bigger things being taken away over time. What if next it’s teaching kids to only use calculators from the 1st grade on and not actually learning math cause some will start to think “who’s not going to have a calculator at their job in our day and age?” That way of thinking can contribute to losing more things that are way more necessary.

Also I've been using cursive almost everyday to sign checks for years 😉

It was really crooked that the two Ole Miss players who started the brawl in that game today were not both penalized and ejected. Each would have been suspended for the rest of the game, so the SEC crew and review booth pretended that they didn't know and could not determine anything :rolleyes: and relied on the lame off-setting penalties cop out to coverup what they did.

They do, though. Three wins over top 10 teams. One of their losses was to the #1 team in America on their home field by 1 point (1 yard, actually). They shouldn't be punished for scheduling that game.

The CFP committee said it was going to start weighing SOS more heavily than simply number of losses, after allowing 2 teams with 0 quality wins into the playoff last season simply because they played weak schedules, which resulted in just 1 loss. Well, here's their chance to show they're not FOS.

@TN-POSSUM do you think David Smith shows up in Neyland today? Or I wonder now if SEC will try to get Texas in playoffs which means Vandy has to lose?

Sec screwed itself going to 9 conference game schedule and on power four team
Big ten led to a bad decision on that

Also nice to see it bc teams like Indiana play nobody and schedule nobody

The playoff system needs to change. No schedules are equal, so automatic bids and guaranteed conference spots should not exist. A Group of Five team making it takes a spot from a more deserving program. Strength of schedule should carry real weight. Quality wins, bad losses, and who you play should determine who gets in, not just the record.

Beat who you're suppose to beat... Losing to Ohio State isn't going to cost Texas a spot. Losing to a 3-8 FLORIDA will...

SEC best Conference in America you guys say... Well Florida is what it's record says a bad 3-8 team.
