That’s the way it used to be for sure. But it’s a different world nowadays. Whole lot easier to restock if you have the right backing. In addition to a salary hike, these new deals are including guaranteed bumps in money to buy players and I’m sure he got some of that too.From a business standpoint, not a good move on his part.
