Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

If true that is bad news with LSU and Heupel. We'll either need to match their 16 million a year offer + 40 million in NIL or we could have problems.

The best scenario for college football is that he stays at Ole Miss. The best move for Tennessee would be him choosing LSU. IMO
I’m not worried about losing heupel. Don’t think we should be. Until major outlets report direct knowledge of him being in contract talks with another school, I wouldn’t go there.

It was predicted last night Kiffin's decision would leak out prior to Friday's Egg Bowl. Well, the natural first source of those leaks will probably be from the Ole Miss side, which appears to be happening, but Gator fans are still in denial and calling Ole Miss reporters 'smooth brains' with zero sense of irony.
Thank you for continuing to bring these potent quotables to us. Florida tears are premium content.

I considered joining gator country just for their coaching search and I don’t even subscribe to vq lol

Arkansas fans seem disappointed it’s Golesh. What did they honestly expect with how terrible their program has been? Golesh is a good hire. He’s going to do well there.
Good, poverty program. They can run him out of town in 3 years as Halze is getting his first HC gig and we can bring him back.

I was going to let 247 run out but ended up reupping on a monthly basis just to read the Gator board. I'm glad it's able to entertain someone besides just me. It's 11 bucks a month. Cheaper than a movie ticket. Oh, and sometimes there's important nuggets on Tennessee recruiting on the GoVols board. ;)

Personally if I'm Golesh I'm staying at USF until an unreal offer comes in. USF is funding their program better than any other non-P4 conference and you've got a CFP slot already promised to a non-P4. As it stands, only programs like Boise, USF, Memphis, and Tulane are really primed to be in the hunt every year.

Maybe you don't believe in the QB behind Brown and know you're going to have a big rebuild after this class so idk.
