is a different world than I suspect most here wish it was, but here we are.

I can’t believe Vol fans are selling our team so short. We are a missed FG from firmly being a playoff team. And a pick 6 and fumble 6 from being undefeated. All 3 losses are to playoff teams and 2 of them will host. The only knock on our team is that we didn’t beat bad teams bad enough. We just dominated Florida in the Swamp and are less than a week from dominating #12. Defense is playing much better now that the youngsters have learned how to play. Well, they are better, and he might just win the Heisman. Not saying we can't beat them, but unless our defense shows a level of play we've not seen to date this year and our offense plays lights out for 4 quarters, I have a hard time seeing us beat this particular Vandy team.

We can only beat who we play, but if we don’t beat Vandy, we’ll have zero wins against good teams. All of our wins are against sub .500 teams. Going 8-4 while losing every game vs decent opponents would be difficult to call a successful season.

All the losses could be to playoff teams too.

This is the youngest team in the SEC & has been in every game, even Alabama. Not a great season but the program is solid as it’s been since 2001.

I agreed it’s our best win when we beat Vandy. Vandy is still trash and Vandy could be 11-0 and coming off a win over the 49ers and I would say they’re trash. Not sure youre following, chief. So sure, I won’t count Vandy as a good win because I refuse to give them that much respect. They can be our best win and still be trash. They’ve always been trash, they are trash, they always will be trash. Sure, our best win is going to be over a trash team. What benefit is it to me/us that we have a “good” win? For once, (if) we beat them this year, it will be the first time I can ever remember being truly excited about beating Vandy. Going to be a tough game boys.
