Coach obviously liked him enough to sign him, so I will go with the staff on this guy. Pleasant surprise with Brown in the big body role this early, but this guy can fill some non-finesse needs at 4 and 5. No big can back him down.

I’m not at all saying we shouldn’t have signed him, I’m just saying he’s likely not going to be a reliable scoring threat.

I read 2-4 weeks as soon as they said it was a bone bruise. Garner Webb was simply a guess on my part based on what others were saying on this site who had experienced similar injuries. Hopefully your prediction of playing next week will come true.

Is he filling the role he was signed to do? Scoring on rebounds, or kicking them back out might be his primary function on that end while defending big bodied bigs on the other.
