Is this the first time ever we’ve had back to back games with Vandy where so much is on the line? Last year, Tennessee needed a win to get in. This year, Tennessee needs a win to have a shot at a 10 win season and Vandy needs one to get in the playoff.

Missed out on attending the Vols smack down in Gainesville this weekend even though we were only about an hour away.

My son was playing in the state championship game where they demolished the runner up. Pretty incredible to see him get the win and celebrate with his team- turned out to be a great night all around. Back in Tennessee this week for Thanksgiving- now we’ve gotta find some Vandy tickets.

I saw on Facebook that locals to this deal in Virginia with the HS coach are alleging 2 minor girls are accusing him of <use your imagination> and that there are also locals defending the coach claiming the two minor girls came onto this authority figure and made these claims up when he rejected their "advances"

That the latter is happening when two children are making these claims is gross, if that's indeed accurate. No one is convicted of anything but running into the woods with a rifle when the Cops are on their way to interview you isn't a great look.

Hell, some on this board already have him guilty of something and they have no clue what has transpired. I guess this is guilt by accusations.

To me it's not even confidence or cockiness, he comes off as goofy or a little "simple", which to me is odd because he has to know some ball. That's just my first impression of him.

I don’t feel it with any of the Heistman candidates. I don’t really follow it or put any stock in it, but I came across an article just now and read my first one in many years.

I haven’t seen Fernando Mendoza play, but the article said he had his Heistman moment coming from behind to edge out Penn State, who sucks and fired their coach, and bragged about the amazing “circus catch” that had to compensate for his throw. They had plain vanilla (and officiating crew beneficiary) Ty Simp on the list! I’m not making this up. A RB for media-promoted ND shot up to near the top of the line, they said, for 3 TDs against the Syracuse team that is a mere shadow of its former self and suffering a 7-game losing streak (!) since QB Steve Angeli tore his Achilles tendon in Sept. Bucknut signal caller J Sayin is on the list and a LB from Texas Tech. Even the dildo smoker who plays for Vandy.

This annual pageant has all the dignity and gravitas of a telemarketing boiler room imo. Is there anyone at all you think deserves a Heistman this year?

Both of the Mendoza brothers play QB at Indiana and both of them can play for anyone and start.
