Ya know it's not impossible...

Not sure that all of them need to happen, depending on how they see our ranked win vs Vandy, could jump a few teams, particularly Virginia, Utah. Either way, all of this happen is a very long shot, but not impossible. But the 2 most important games to give us a shot are ND and BYU, and those will be longshots.
UVA doesn’t matter. They’re either in as ACC champ or out.

I believe you may be confusing auto-byes, they changed that from last year that the Top 4 Conference champions got a first round bye, to this year it's the Top 4 seeds get byes.

Or actually to be totally correct, the Top 4 Conference champions don't get the Top 4 seeds automatically anymore.
I stand corrected. It's the 5 highest rated conference champions. I heard that the ACC could potentially be left out entirely and assumed that the CFP went away from auto-bids.

Thanks for the clarification.

Depends on what happens in other games. They aren’t out of it by any means.
I never said that they’re out, just that it’s unlikely. Oregon and Ole Miss would likely stay ahead of them even if they were to lose next weekend. So, they’d need 4 out of the teams that are currently ranked 8-13 to lose. Although, they may be able to hop over Utah even if Utah wins next week against KU.

They will jump Oregon if they win and the Ducks lose.

Tennessee is being ranked as a resume booster for UGA, OU, and Bama. There is no scenario in which they leap into the top 10, which is what would be required to make the CFP. All 7 of UT's FBS wins are below .500. Getting one win over a 9 win Vandy is not going to make a difference.
Stfu and take your @ss back to the Alabama board

Without that absolutely perfect pass from Stockton on 4th down to tie, we never even need a 43 yard FG.
We had several game losing plays that day. Starting with the first snap on defense. Overall not good enough, but the field goal was the only stand alone play that could and should have won it for us. Totally tragic..

I had no real belief we'd win in overtime. No energy after fukking off the kick. That was a win for them to even see overtime.
That's the next step in our elevation though. We've got to learn not to get rattled by bad breaks. The General knew that was a huge component in winning. MORE STEAM.

I am pulling for a miracle. Mathematically Tennessee could but they would need more than little help here and in conference championships. As it is, I think Tennessee is going to fire bowl game. Citrus against Michigan would be nice to watch.

What would be awesome is if (in order of games played next weekend):
1. KANSAS beats UTAH (Friday)
2. UGA beats GT (Friday)
3. A&M beats TX (Friday)
4. OSU beats MICH
5. PITT beats MIAMI
6. UCF beats BYU
7. UT beats VANDY
8. STAN beats ND

6 of those games will have concluded or be in progress before our kickoff against Vandy.

One can dream. Just beat Vandy! GBO
BYU is 10-1. A 3-loss UT isn't going to be able jump them just because the Cougars get a second loss.
