Always intrigued by late cycle DL finds. And when they're Garner-approved you have to feel good about the eval.

My guess is his senior tape looks really good and reflects a changed body from that video above where he (impressively) dunks but frankly looks sloppy weight-wise. If he's slimmed down he's clearly got some twitch to him...

Not sure if he's a late bloomer, as much as he's just raw with a ton of natural tools. The quote I provided in the OP was from an article where he had visited uga last year. So big schools have known about him.

This seems like a move based on the rosters being expanded to 105, low risk high upside. Sell the kid on committing and being patiently developed by an ELITE DL coach.
