Game Thread: Lady Vols v MTSU, Away, Thurs. Nov 20th, 7:30PM, ESPN+

Hurst has tape on her right (?) hand. Wonder if that's what has put her so far down on the bench. I kno Ow she missed her 3s, but I've seen some things I've liked out of her in the little time she's had. Of course, as Kaniya has shown tonight, hustle and production gets you minutes as well as production.

The defense has been swarming and it has been total effort for the full 20 minutes. More impressed with the defense than the offense in this game even though we have 48 points. 5 of 19 from the three started out well then missed several in a row. The defense and rebounding has been overpowering in this one.

Methinks Coach Kim may have taken minor offense at Rick Insell's comments after last season's game about her system and decided to show him how it works! And, this is the first game this season that looks like the team has both accepted the system and is putting forth the effort to make it work, in my opinion.

Ive not commented on a game thread yet this season, but I have to say this is for sure the most energy we’ve shown in a game all season, and the relentlessness on the O-boards is something Kim has been preaching. They clearly had a much needed and great week of practice.

I think she’s very capable. Needs to get in a little better shape.

Feels like our adjusted offense has not only created more open looks for us, but it's also put us in much better position to rebound the misses. There's been 14 missed threes, but its felt like quite a number of those became second chances, as we got 10 oRBs overall, so those misses don't hurt near as bad.
