Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I hate these damn airline and ticket site algorithms. HATE.

I had a flight for a winter beach trip picked out yesterday. Checked with wifey last night. Price more than doubled this morning because I had looked at the flight before. Now it is possible that the plane filled up this morning, but I seriously doubt it: Not many people want a New Years Eve evening flight. I think it should be illegal: every person should see the same price for the same flight at the same time. But good look passing a fair law. Of course, a person who earned special prices and benefits from the individual airline could receive them at their site.

Does anyone know how to defeat this rip off? Your help would be massively appreciated.

I've fought this and come out at least even, I think. Deleting your browsing history and cookies and going from a fresh browser/IP address are keys. I agree regarding a vpn, but if the cookies are still in there, they still know exactly who you are and what you're interested in. Even with a VPN, they can look at the applications and fonts you have loaded on your computer to make a reasonably unique ID for you and compare to prior users to see if this computer has searched before. Incognito mode or private browsing should obscure this. I've seen interesting results using a vpn server from the country I'm headed to. Sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. I usually research prices from a work computer using a site like kayak that doesn't have much skin in the game. I don't log in to kayak in the research phase. I also delete my browsing history and restart my virtual desktop at work if I'm going to be browsing on multiple days. Once you decide on a flight, you click the link in Kayak and it takes you to the airline website where Kayak found that fare to purchase. Once you've got the offer in front of you that you want, log in to the airline website and pounce.

Equal parts tin foil hat and cloak and dagger, but the staying completely anonymous thing does seem to make a significant difference.

I'll hold off to see how future recruiting does, but TV was the modern program. Does his "cool" wear off and make our brand and Elander? Idk, but I'd be very happy if we're a top-25 program the next 3-5 years. Would be a great job by staff if we can hold on to even 60% of what TV did.
I fully believe we'll be close to the level we have been under Tony, I really do. Now if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, so be it.
I also would not be down about having a top 15 to 25 team every year going forward. I mean how could we be, that's postseason play every year, baseball being baseball, that gives us a chance to go to Omaha every year. I'll definitely take that as I'm sure most everyone else would.

If mccoy didnt really start practicing until after the ou game, why would he want to play? What does he have to gain from that, we have no shot at the playoff and he only risks getting hurt or ruining his stock from limited mobility
I don't know this but perhaps he's being paid to play and wants to do his best to back up his end of the bargain.

I've experienced the same thing, and then started using capitalone travel to check airfares because it doesn't seem to change fares when viewing on their website.

First thing that entered my mind was deleting cookies. Research VPNs before you use them. Find someone unbiased. They aren't what they appear.

nope and wouldn’t at 70 years old but I understand the draw between both of them. It is better than getting happy endings at massage parlors like Bob Kraft. LOL
Highly debatable. You seen any tweets of Kraft having to attend a coed cheerleading competition after leaving the massage parlor?
