it’s worked for kiffinI think the Vols should go after the best QB they can buy in the portal this year. Player loyalty is not guaranteed in the post-NIL/transfer portal world. There's no guarantee that GMac or Faizon stay with the Vols even if they are given the keys to the kingdom early (see Nico). They could also easily get hurt or bust. We should be putting the best product on the field each year and let the chips fall where they may. If we win and we offer competitive compensation, we will keep good players even if they sit for an extra year.
I know teams can still be good with an unproven, green QB (see Sayin at OSU or Ty at Bama), but is that the risk you want to take? We've seen what this offense looks like when it's executed by a competent QB. I don't want to go back to forcing a rook to a baptism by fire to see what we have.
I'll hold off to see how future recruiting does, but TV was the modern program. Does his "cool" wear off and make our brand and Elander? Idk, but I'd be very happy if we're a top-25 program the next 3-5 years. Would be a great job by staff if we can hold on to even 60% of what TV did.Total conjecture here. But I’m concerned baseball is in for a tailspin. You just don’t listen to fans and the current team. And to be candid Elander may have been the best we could have gotten. So maybe moot point.
Browse in incognito mode without logging into the site.I hate these damn airline and ticket site algorithms. HATE.
I had a flight for a winter beach trip picked out yesterday. Checked with wifey last night. Price more than doubled this morning because I had looked at the flight before. Now it is possible that the plane filled up this morning, but I seriously doubt it: Not many people want a New Years Eve evening flight. I think it should be illegal: every person should see the same price for the same flight at the same time. But good look passing a fair law. Of course, a person who earned special prices and benefits from the individual airline could receive them at their site.
Does anyone know how to defeat this rip off? Your help would be massively appreciated.
I agree, but it’s a really really awkward spot to be in. To get somebody decent, which what is the point in just bringing in a body if you don’t think they can play, will cost a lot, and they would likely want promises that I would hope the coaching staff wouldn’t give. Is there a true competition? If so and GMAC doesn’t win would he leave? Lots of moving parts in assembling a college football roster these days. It isn’t as easy as many on here make it out to be.After Merk transfers, we will have 2 scholarship QBs…a redshirt FR and a true FR. We absolutely have to take a portal QB to have 3 scholly QBs.
I would be shocked if they aren’t convinced he’s going to the NFL after next year, much less trying to stay in college 3 more years
Considering the WR from the rumor was Xavier Worthy, I think pictures of the kid would make it easy to refute or substantiate the rumor.Just did a little dive into this. Apparently they filed for divorce last July. They got back together in late 2025. 9 months after they announced their divorce she had a baby. It could be true but I found nothing to verify the accusations.
I would doubt that he's completely healed based off your injury timeline. Swelling leads me to believe something is wrong. Then again, he just may be a wimp and doesn't have your athletic prowess. I'll see myself out nowyep, agree--- if he's medically not cleared at all then he shouldn't play... But if he can play and is choosing not to, then what I said should be completely reasonable... I've had 3 knee surgeries myself in my younger days (wrestling) and depending what the sport consists of in terms of knee support, timing is different. He's completely "healed" at this point in terms of ligaments/tendons/soft tissue and has gotten the best nutrition and rehab you can get... now it's about reps at the stress point... they keep talking about the fact he's still swelling, which may be the reason they won't release him if the swelling info is true.
