Elon Musk Just Became The First Person Ever Worth $500 Billion

Seems like yesterday that several on here were reveling in the fact that Musk was gonna bankrupt Twitter blah, blah, blah.

"And then there’s xAI Holdings, which Musk formed in March, when he merged his new artificial intelligence company xAI with the social media company he acquired in 2022, X (formerly Twitter), in a deal that valued the combined company at $113 billion. Musk owns an estimated 53% stake in xAI Holdings worth $60 billion."

They all are. Sad to say that if Freak and the mods didnt run a tight ship with their TOS then this site would be a cesspool as well. Trolls from other fanbases and likely a small but outspoken % of VOL fans would wreck the place.

I dont pretend to be a SM expert, I have no FB, IG, nor TT presence. Just from what I have seen in crossposts etc there is plenty of horrible content, and comments. SM and the relative anonymity seems to bring out the absolute worst in people as well as giving the worst of us echo chambers with likeminded idiots and a means to coordinate riots and other crimes. We have 10yo kids in this country addicted to internet porn because they have smartphones. I would bet most of the guys my age or older on this forum had never seen the inside of an X rated magazine once at 10 years old. I know that I sure had not. SM is rotting human cutlure, not just here in the West. Its one of the worst inventions in our history...just based on lost production by adults everyday. Not to mention all the garbage and what it does to kids.

In here, we're more about making fun of his ******** than counting his money. Kim Kardashian is a billionaire. Being a billionaire doesn't mean you understand basic civics, aren't a racist, and don't get caught in pathetic lies all the time. Join us and make fun of public figures who behave badly in these regards.

None of those are about "Musk" going bankrupt.

Those are about Twitter losing 75% of its value on his watch.

In my original post I said nothing about "Musk" going bankrupt. You should get a job for CNN or the MSM. They do the same thing all the time by taking a quote and chopping it up to fit their narrative, Reread what I originally said. I said people were reveling that Musk was gonna bankrupt Twitter. You then said that I said Musk was going bankrupt. Nice try.

The article I quoted above clearly states that Twitter hasn't lost 75% of it's value. In fact it's now combined with his AI company and worth more than when he purchased it for 44 billion.

You're right. I misread it, but part of the reason I misread it is your point doesn't really make sense. His total wealth has very little to do with Twitter, and it's almost a certainty that he's still in the hole on twitter because he did in fact put bankruptcy into play when Fidelity (who was vested in Twitter) said it had dropped 73% in value and he wasn't paying bills. Cool that he's worth $500b, but Twitter has hurt that number.

"So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates— scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie, music, a book (but doubt that he reads); pride in a friend’s or relative’s accomplishment; condolences for someone who has died; pleasure in sports, acclaim for a favorite team; references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated, uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the 'most wealthy person in the world."
