SIAP but man it is shocking to think McCoy could go #11 in the draft without playing a single snap of football. I know he’s great, but still. How often do we see that happen? Top 10-15 picks come at a premium, and it would seem like a real risk to draft someone that high coming off major surgery without seeing him play a single snap.

Knowing what he can do and 2 year recovery? I'd say they will take that because they don't have to worry that he came back "too quickly"

Drafting a skill player literally fresh off an injury and not having returned to action yet is literally what the Titans have done for like a decade. Caleb Farley vibes hittin hard.

Please say a prayer for my son and his fiancé.
She's 25 and suffered a stroke a couple weeks ago in Naples. She was heloed to Tampa last night with swelling on her brain.

"Prayer is work, but it works." 🙏
Faith in the Lord that everything will work out for everyone's best is the most effective prayer. It's constant prayer. I expect things to work out for your son and his fiancé. I will pray for it too, but God is infinitely good. Every trial is a blessing in disguise. I know it's often impossible to see that in the moment, but usually in retrospect we can appreciate it. God bless you and your family, brother.

The NFL people don't give crap about anything other than tools, measurables, and potential.

You're playing with fire if you only have two scholarship QB'S on an SEC team. Everyone says you need depth to compete with the big boys and that also includes the QB position. Unfortunately, that position requires big NIL money
I'd just have to see a plausible scenario where we are playing the third QB for meaningful snaps and the season isn't chalked anyway.

Paying anything for that slim contingency scenario seems like a bad insurance policy.

Poor Colton, guy busts his butt and becomes successful only to get picked by the Titans.

There's actually a lengthy recent history of corners who had 1st round grades at some point going into the draft off of year long injuries. Those guys have been going in round 2-3.

McCoy going in the top 15 seems crazy to me.
I agree, no film on how well he's playing after recovery. You can only see so much on a practice field, the mental side of a recovery from an injury like that is just as important, and you never know until actual games are being played.

Praying for healing for her and wisdom and patience for your Son as he walks through this with her.

How is Notre Dame ranked ahead of Miami??

If only they could play each other and settle it on the field. Oh wait!!!!
Because ND figured out the formula. Play your hardest games first, be a favorite of the media bias and play all cupcakes starting with the 3rd game of season.

Because you avoid injuries and can say the team grew all year and you get rewarded with home playoff game.

Miami has lost two games to unranked teams... Even though they beat Notre Dame by a FG first game of season, those two losses look worse than two losses to top 15 ranked teams...

Or the other point being that ND got beat by a team who lost to two unranked teams instead of you look at some SEC teams like UT that has 3 loses to all top 10 teams….

At some point they need to be punished for their loses instead of saying they were early loses and they beat all the cupcakes and oh hey they are ND
