Milton performed a lot better than Hooker in practices so it is hard to blame the coaches on that one. NICO was average and led us to the playoffs.

The coaching staff needs to stop being so enamored with NFL bodies and get players that fun run their system better.

Evaluating talent has been sub-par by this staff in all areas but we have to trust then to do it.

it is best for us if GMAC is the man but if it's not meant to be then we will need to go pay a front line starter.

You're playing with fire if you only have two scholarship QB'S on an SEC team. Everyone says you need depth to compete with the big boys and that also includes the QB position. Unfortunately, that position requires big NIL money

We were told Milton performed better than Hooker, Proof ?
Also been told this year they really liked Merk and thought he could be good .
Played him when Joey took some hits and had to go out for a spell .??? I ain’t buying it.

His nephew was a QB QC coach or graduate assistant at that time.

So I would say he saw a lot more than you
and your opinion of all things Vols.

I know a VFL who sits in the box with Boyd and others. And he is usually field level before games. But hey what could he know?

Buddy of mine’s son is on the staff UNA(North Alabama) they’re playing their 4&5 string QBs
We Absolutly need to find a portal QB for next season. The question is do we want a clip board holder or someone who will push for the QB 1 position ?

I haven't heard much good about Merk other than standard coach speak. I did hear some complimentary things about Mac but he was young and raw.

Think you get someone that will push without getting rinsed for cash. Your future is in the crazy talent we are getting in Brandon. Take that extra money and spend it elsewhere. Get someone that will take what Joey did around 1.4 Mil.

No matter how many times this is brought up, people REFUSE to believe or acknowledge this.

Hooker was horrible in practice and the spring game. And look now, Hooker can't even stay on a damn practice squad in the NFL. Wonder why...

Then you're obtuse on purpose. I've heard from several VFL's on the Ainge and Swain show say it wasn't CLOSE. Volquest has said it many times.

Why do you not want to believe EVERYONE?
