And 2 of our 3 losses were decided by 10 points against #4 and #10. Can’t highlight the close games against bad teams without highlighting the close games against playoff teams. I swear, i think the majority of this forum is made of up people who’s friends got tired of them complaining about Tennessee all the time, so this is a last resort open sounding board for folks that love to be miserable about UT sports.

We replace practically our entire starting lineup (offense and defense) and people are mad about a season that can very likely end in 10-3 record

I don't like how we've been pushed around on the LOS the last few games and UF has players, esp on the def front that can do that.

We haven't really stopped the run very well lately.... UF with baugh, when they decide to run, can run.

I don't think we'll be great at running the ball either.

If the team that played at Ole miss shows up in the swamp Saturday night and we show up like we have the last 3 games... Mistakes, turnovers, penalties etc.. We'll lose.

Other side of the coin is if the UF team that showed up against UK or LSU... We win.

Both of these teams need to take long looks in the mirror and decide what they're gonna be these last two weeks.

I think I know who we are... We've gotten away with being mistake prone against lesser competition. Not so much against like, or better, competition. But we've been a mistake prone team all year.

And in a series, especially down there, where UF seems to make a play or 2 that wind up difference makers...

Fanbase needs this W in a big way
Nobody needs this one more than Heupel. I think this will turn out to be a turning point in his career at UT. Curious to see which way it goes with him. Well, I'm pretty sure the direction, but for the optimists here, I'll refrain from going there.

We are 7-3 playing a 3-7 team who fired their coach. If you didn't know better reading this board you'd think it was the opposite.

I would argue our run defense has improved substantially since Arkansas. Yes we gave up some yards to OU. But nearly half of those were to Mateer. We were solid against Bama and UK. NMSU wasn't a test of any kind.

UF on the other hand, has been awful at stopping the run the last few weeks, and Kyren Lacy last week absolutely torched them.

IMO, if we get an early lead, we're gonna run it down their throat and put the game out of reach. As much flack we give Joey for turning the ball over, Lagway is much more turnover prone and our defense has been one of the best in the nation at creating TOs.

Yeah, ultimately, UF is still a 3-7 team. They've been able to "turn it on" for a few games, but they can't just do it at will. If they could, they wouldn't be 3-7. And even when they do play well, they still aren't world beaters.

I feel like our D isn’t as good as there O. And I believe Florida will stop us or turn us over enough to win.
