I always think how stupid giving us bulletin board material, but it seems when players on a team put out quotes like this, we shrivel up instead of coming out with our hair on fire. I would love to see our guys being the ones making confident/cocky statements like this then backing it up.

Nah. He's just trying to distract us from the "curse". It's real and it's in every sport. All joking aside, I hate playing these weak sister teams. It's a perfect cauldron for injuries. You get a team that's not really fired up to play and they tend to get caught standing around the action and get a knee or ankle rolled. Or you get up on kids who were passed over by you or other major programs who are playing with something to prove and when things get out of hand, cheap shots start coming. Seem to remember that happening to Tillman in '22 I think. Might be wrong on the player, but I do recall hearing/reading that the opponent was taking their shots and that we should be getting starters out of the game. In any event, I hope it's not bad and Estrella returns. Seems like some players just can't stay healthy...snake bit. Copperheads everywhere for those guys.
