Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Fulmer had 4 games in 98 changed by one play. It could have been a 4 loss season.
Pi at cuse was the biggest help of the year
Oh I disagree. Clint Stoerner deciding he didn’t want to hold onto the ball anymore and just laying on the ground while scrambling turned an automatic loss into a chance to win the we pulled off.

7 damn 3 putts today so freaking infuriating. 🤬

But then I absolutely crank the drive on 18 and get up and down for a birdie this is the greatest game ever 😁

The golf gods continue to use my emotions to wipe their collective asses with.

I know your plight. 9 birdie putts today, 7 of them were realistically in the make range, made only 2. I hate it when I hit it good but can’t post a score like I did.

I'll definitely do your margarita of choice. I can do any Jack but I'm not a fan of Beam, Wild Turkey or Old Bardstown. I used to be a big beer drinker but I'm aging out of that. Too much liquid to process

Back in my UT days we'd often go to some Mexican place (I think it was on Kingston Pike) on Friday nights and get these huge strawberry margaritas that they called the Why Not. I still have the fishbowl like glass that it came in. My date that night smuggled it out...:)
Fiesta Cantina?

Storerner fumbling was definitely a gift of epic proportions, he fumbled, but I still lay that mess on Houston Nutt’s ass. I mean what in the hell was he doing calling a naked bootleg there anyway? Should have just run it into the line and made us use our last time out and run out the clock. One of the stupidest calls ever! I thank him for it though.

One of the worst calls in history. Glad we capitalized on it. I had one foot towards the exit pissed as all hell, when that gift came. I knew we’d score after that, it was like destiny.

All this talk about " AI gonna take our jobs and kill us all"...

We put men on the moon 60 freaking YEARS AGO...

BUT you can type:

Gippopotamus... OR

Gsterectomy

Gelicopter pilot

And these freaking keyboards CANNOT figure it out??

Get 43 letters correct and the 1st letter wrong...and computers/phones are truly incapable of figuring out what you were intending. Don't hold your breath folks.

Also apparently I had a heart attack before 50yo at 5ft10in and 175lbs. So yay...Drove myself to the ER yesterday with chest pain and I had one. Am back home now and fine but I have follow ups with the cardiologist etc and now I am on BP medicine and aspirin regimen dangit. I am thankful to the Lord to still be alive and this kinda sucks though to be honest. I have a thing with my daughter tonight though and I am not telling her. She is 17yo and the closest human to perfect I have ever known and deserves to never, ever have to worry about me.

I would appreciate a little prayer though if yall can spare a minute or 2. I want to meet my grandkids and I am still dealing with some mild chest pain from time to time and it scares me a little to be honest.

All the best Marcus. Here's the thing - from experience - I've had my aortic valve replaced twice, have a couple of stents, etc. I see the heart as a mechanical issue and feel far more comfortable with that than GV's cancer and any number of other medical issues. You can fix body related mechanical issues these days; a lot of the other stuff, well ... The doc who did the stents when I went in for some chest pain during exertion (and I won't go into the exertion bit, but the wife turned me in), said cardiologists these days feel like they can fix everything IF you get to them on time. If in doubt, turn yourself in. ERs respond pretty fast to people complaining of chest pain.

Take care of yourself, you mean a lot to many others in your life.

Praying for you man.

And today I just went through a treadmill stress test due to intermittent chest pain I’ve been having for a few weeks now. Would have done it a month ago but had to make the long trip to Knoxville last month for Mom’s 97th birthday.

Prayers for complete healing and good health!

And 97 is a good long life, congratulations to your Mom!
