We won by 33. Offense didn’t execute great. Defense played well.

Coaches like Smart definitely don’t celebrate after beating a winless Mississippi state team in overtime like they just won the national championship. Coach will have to re evaluate things in offseason. AD White will probably make that an easier or clearer process for him

IMO I think we are a very talented, but young, team that lacks depth in the secondary. There are flaws, but overall a good (not great) team. Much like 23.

We could win our next 2 and our 3 losses will be to playoff teams with a win against a bubble team. Considering where the team was in April, I'd call that a success.

Mateer sucks even without the surgery. So overhyped. He’s more of a threat with his legs than through the air.

read where boo didn't even show up to Neyland yesterday? Is that correct?

Staff knew this is where it was headed and was hoping they would put up more of a fight for Bey... I think LB is a better version of boo... maybe we can take his money and add it to what we offered bey to get him to flip back...

The idea being Lane Kiffin was going to announce he's coming to Florida today? While 10-1 and working on a playoff and SECC appearance?

If Florida wants Lane they are going to have to wait until his season is over.

I know his reputation as a guy who will fly by night at a moment's notice is still alive and well from his Tennessee exit, but even Kiffin isn't throwing away a playoff appearance just to give Florida a few weeks of peace of mind.

I doubt the guy responsible for heupel getting here would be made the reason Heupel could leave. More likely if DW says jump heupel says how high. In actuality they have a trust factor between them that’s already been founded so they’ll have those conversations like I’m sure they do every season and come to a joint decision.

I get where yall are coming from with Heupel about him seemingly being checked out, but who knows what’s going on with him. Weren’t there rumors about him getting divorced in the offseason?

Why are you comparing Boo and Bey? I would say the staff went above and beyond to give Boo every chance in the world. Not sure why you'd put any of this on them. Bey isn't flipping back. Move on.

But all of this was foreseen..........It was obvious dating back to early in HS. It's a shame no matter who or what is at fault.

With that being said......................Maybe a year at the Peay would humble him and get back some drive :oops: :D

Come to Clarksville Boo and entourage................we'll take that talent for a year!

Here is the other thing, Florida media has told Gator fans that Florida is not willing to wait after the Dec Early Signing Period for an answer from Lane. It's almost like they are setting up a, "Well, guys, we gave it every effort," knowing Kiffin isn't coming. I think the situation in Florida is worse than any of their fans realize and any of their media is willing to admit.

Think about it. Say Lane goes. Ole Miss is a top 10 SEC job if not better than that now. The investment is there. They would be the best job open! Think about that. Why would Kiffin leave?

Here's another thing: no one in Florida media is willing to tell fans what the plan is if Lane says no. It's frustrating a lot of fans. I think they just know fans won't like the name.

It's going to be interesting to see where Boo ends up. People keep saying Colorado, but I don't think they realize how many bridges Boo has burned. Someone will bet on that talent, but he's already got some strikes against him that everyone is aware of.

If they hire a coach tomorrow, I mean, maybe that makes sense. But they hire a coach two weeks from now.. so what? Having a coach for three days is going to help you on signing day? How?

Anyway. Bold strategy cotton. Personally, assuming we had a sure thing deal, I'd sacrifice signing day to get the coach I wanted.

Haven’t heard that. I would imagine he’s not in the greatest of moods these days since he is staring down the possibility of a 7-5 season.

Teams can't afford to waste NIL money.

I kid about Peay, but FCS might be the option he really needs. IDK?
