I'm not watching any games until the Vols play today.

There is a doomsday scenario brewing in the ACC. If Duke wins out they will be in the Championship game. If they win the conference championship there is no guarantee the ACC would get a bid because Duke would not be ranked and the way the CFP is worded, it’s the highest ranked 5 conference champions with bids. We could see two Group of 5 teams get automatic bids if that happens.

Reminds me of our 2022 game against them except A&M is handing them the game on a silver platter as opposed to South Carolina running up and down the field on offense. And it’s a home for A&M. Very odd.

Not true. It’s the 5 highest ranked conference champions. Says nothing about Power 4. Everyone just assumes the Power 4 are guaranteed but that isn’t the case. If you are a FBS school and win a conference championship then you are eligible for an automatic bid as long as you are one of the highest ranked 5 conference champions.

We don’t know what the pool of at-large teams will be at this point since there are two more weeks after this one so until championship games we won’t know.
