If we are top tier in recruiting then we a top team. In America we go by the votes and not perception. The recruits are voting us. We are top shelf.

He's 21-14 🤷. With a lot of those wins being carried by defense, not offense. He looks very much like Derek Dooley looked on paper

I think he's fine. He could be a great coach eventually. But I can confidently say his mystique is very much limited to VN.

"Let's forget Heupel and go hire a coach with a 21-14 record.". I don't think any Vol fan is jumping on that bandwagon in general, nor should they.

Don't believe anyone is saying that Indiana is great but they're not trash like you insist on saying because you know football .... But you keep beating that drum... If Indiana doesn't make it to Semifinals of CFP I will say you were correct but if they do make the Semifinals do you have the testicular fortitude to say that you were wrong in your assessment? Probably not.


Btw: you don't have to wear the Hoosier red to acknowledge the great job Cignetti has done lifting a team up that hasn't done **** in 50 damn years....

He just did what Alabubba did except they didn't turn themselves in. Chargers for everyone. It was all about Fulmer pure and simple. Pruitt was the sacrificial lamb.

I have always admitted when I was wrong. If Indiana is it I will admit it. I think Cignetti is a good coach but Indiana is not top ten, in my opinion, they have a lot of experienced players. Good men can beat great boys.

It's funny. Part of the reason that crap article gave for Heupel considering leaving is fan expectation here. Tennessee fans expect to make the playoffs. Yet they ignore Kelly was let go when it became obvious, they wouldn't make the playoffs. Expectations are the exact same. Is it easier to recruit to LSU? Yes. They tend to have better in-state talent and reach into both Texas and Florida. But as far as expectations go, they're the same. And I contend as long as you have some good recruiters on staff, Tennessee isn't that much harder to recruit to. We can reach into Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Anybody ever watch Joey Petersen on YouTube? I wonder about his titles such as "Great News for UT", "This is Massive", "Fantastic Vol news", etc. They are greatly exaggerated. Most of the time it's stuff like Heupel recruiting during the bye week(No Dah), or such and such might come back this year (Really?), or a highly ranked player has UT on his top 10 list. Come on! Those titles are greatly exaggerated. Why not such titles when all the UT players are not sick, or nobody kicked the can recently, etc.? Somebody is stretching for breaking, significant, news! The boy who cried wolf! 🤫 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
