Money says Vandy wont be the favorite.Definitely more potential downside left in the season than upside. It will be interesting to see how players respond to that in the NIL era.
The most maddening thing is that Vandy and us have reversed roles. We will be playing the spoiler and they will be the favorite when they come to town. No excuse for that in the 5th year of a rebuilding effort and given the money we spend compared to them.
The OK game was just a flat out brutal loss that should not have happened.
Losing to Candy is always grounds for a UT coach to be on the hot seat. They don't have our talent. They just play hard. If a UT coach can't get our superior talent to play hard against our in state rival, we have some problems. See all the loser coaches that lost to Candy recently.lol. This isn’t your typical Vandy team. Any other year I would say you are right. But losing to this Vandy wouldn’t be grounds for putting Heupel in the hot seat.
They have more talent than than they have ever had. That being said, we still have more but it's not lopsided. We should winLosing to Candy is always grounds for a UT coach to be on the hot seat.
