You'll recall Donde Plowman announcing the day Pruitt was fired that they fired him for cause. You don't get to fire someone and then go perusing the NCAA bylaws later on looking for cause. As someone said, no judge would stand for that. "For cause" implies it was the reason they were fired. Kelly was clearly fired for performance. They made that abundantly clear. No take backs

All that would happen is they would end up owing the original amount, while also dealing with the NCAA investigation they brought on themselves.

And I'm simply saying DW should put his boot up someone's ass and get our "probation" ended. If Pruitt's show-cause is lifted and he can now work in college football again, we should no longer be getting punished for what he did.

Not a bad get in all honesty. But I still think he’d be much better served going to VT. That’s a match made in heaven for both the program and him. His ceiling is a mid-major program where consistent 8-9 wins a season, with the occasional 10 wins, is acceptable.

He could actually do better than that if the acc continues to be terrible. That conference is ripe for the taking.

Does VT have a lot of sex crimes to cover up, though? That’s Franklin’s bag.
