We would kill them, ville, uva, gt, byu, and pitt. But oh well, we pooped the bed 3x this season. Goal should be to climb as high as possible in the polls to make the window dressing more appealingIowa and Tennessee are the only 3 loss teams in the poll. Look at the résumé’s and tell me who has the better one. They have closer losses to the top 10 teams they’ve played but a much worse third loss.
Here's how it went:That was their claim to firing with cause. They never fired him. Kelly just pulled a Farris Bueller and skipped coming to the Alabama game.
The good old days. When you could go to Vegas and they would rush to bring you a drink and make sure you’re happy. Corporate greed has ran that place in the ground. There are very few servers and water is $7.00 a bottle. I’ll never go back. The mafia and various mobs have declined greatly, mostly due to the RICO act. I'm not sure they still have a major grasp on Vegas like even 20 years ago. Now it's major international conglomerates, with zero welfare or citizenship within the city itself, a far more dangerous presence.
In Beldar's case, he actually broke NCAA rules. If they can prove Kelly broke NCAA rules, they'll have cause. They should talk to UT's lawyers who worked on the Beldar Cornbread case.
"You show me the man and I'll show you the crime" is not how it works. In Beldar's case, he actually broke NCAA rules. If they can prove Kelly broke NCAA rules, they'll have cause.
I think they should definitely do that then. Would love to see the corndogs poop in their own mess kit."You show me the man and I'll show you the crime" is not how it works.
You'll recall Donde Plowman announcing the day Pruitt was fired that they fired him for cause. You don't get to fire someone and then go perusing the NCAA bylaws later on looking for cause. As someone said, no judge would stand for that. "For cause" implies it was the reason they were fired. Kelly was clearly fired for performance. They made that abundantly clear. No take backs
All that would happen is they would end up owing the original amount, while also dealing with the NCAA investigation they brought on themselves.
We also went to OT against a horrendous Mississippi state team and barely beat an Arkansas team at home. I’m not trying to be a debbie downer, but it’s time people stop acting like this team is good. We’re 2 losses away from being 7-5. One game is in Gainesville, which we’ve only won there 5 times. The other is against a Pavia led Vanderbilt team. I like our chances against Vandy, but we couldn’t even beat OU’s QB who is recovering from a recent a broken hand.Iowa and Tennessee are the only 3 loss teams in the poll. Last update on Pruitt's case was a judge ordered both parties to mediate and come to either a legal settlement or an outside-settlement which sometimes happens in such cases. The judge granted a preliminary injunction of his 6-year show-cause which typically suggests that he is likely to win his case on the merits.I also contend it is still ludicrous that Pruitt has had his ban lifted yet we still remain on probation until the summer of 2028.
I get we blew our chance at playoffs but the rankings show that losing to three playoff teams is still going to hurt you worse than being Virginia and barely beating everyone on your schedule with two losses or a loss to a sub par team and no real big wins. The nine game SEC schedule is going to eat the league alive.
