I heard a rumor that was posted on an On3 board I can't access that said LSU hired a PI to dig up dirt on Kelly to justify firing him for cause. I know it's a lot of money, but just bite the bullet. Every additional day you fight this your job becomes less-attractive to any potential coach. You are already going to have to give a coach the sort of contract the governor just lambasted publicly to attract anyone worth their salt. And how are they to know that when it comes time for LSU to pay that buyout, they won't do the exact same thing they are doing with Kelly? It's SUCH hubris! Self-sabotage.

The mafia and various mobs have declined greatly, mostly due to the RICO act. I'm not sure they still have a major grasp on Vegas like even 20 years ago. Now it's major international conglomerates, with zero welfare or citizenship within the city itself, a far more dangerous presence.

If you go to Vegas, and you play stupid games, you’ll find out the mob is alive and well. And your family may or may not find you in the desert.

Oh I'm not questioning their veiled presence, but they have lost their grip, run over by corporate giants. They are bigger players around Fremont St...not sure who still goes there though.

I think Drinkwitz is an overrated coach. Sure, he boat raced us the last time we played but he was utterly destroyed every other time. Additionally, he benefits greatly off of an embarrassingly weak schedule that Mizzou has. They basically lose to every good team he faces. I mean, sure, back to back 10 win years but look who they played. It's not impressive.

I say all that to say that if he leaves mizzou before we get our shot at revenge, I'll be annoyed.

I disagree.

The govenor should be involved. As a matter of fact I think they should withhold Kelly’s payment. I also think it would be a good idea to do any exhaustive search and an extensive contract negotiation with the next coach to make sure this never happens again. It would be a bad idea if they don’t take at least until After Spring Camp to make the right coaching hire.

You would think this common practice for anyone willing to digest the load of crap coming through their social media feed each day. And yet…

This is why I don’t have social media anymore. VN is as close as I get.

I saw some research that said how many are getting their news through social media these days. I am scared for our country. And the world.

F’ing sheeple.
