President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

That must be hard for you, asking Trump and MAGA to rescue you from your bad choices.
Specifically, which Democrat has asked for Donald Trump's help? LOL. 😂

Even when Donald Trump's party has a majority control of both chambers of Congress, if it can't be done with an Executive Order .... then Donald Trump can't do it.

Donald Trump has proven himself to be a woefully ineffective negotiator and deal maker as the President of the United States. Exercising absolute authority is the only way that Donald Trump knows how to govern. Donald Trump is incompetent when it comes to doing anything but signing his name to an E.O..

.... and we shouldn't forget how Donald Trump was critical of Barack Obama for signing too many Executive Orders. Donald Trump even called Barack Obama a "wannabe dictator from a banana republic," because of it. So, Donald Trump is also a hypocrite, with no sense of self-awareness, on top of being a pathologically dishonest and feckless leader.

Fact: Donald Trump is dumber than dirt.

Seriously. Considering he's a billionaire, I just find it absolutely striking that he doesn't even have the mathematical aptitude of a 5th grader. And this puts aside the absolutely undeniable fact that he literally speaks at a 5th grade level, as well.

Need proof our President is a moron?

Go to 5:25 in this video. It's absolutely cringe worthy.

I can't believe this guy is the "leader of the free world". Idiocracy incarnate.

CORRECTION: Trump speaks at a 4th grade level.

At what grade level does president Trump normally speak?

President Donald Trump's speaking style has been analyzed using the Flesch-Kincaid readability test, which estimates the U.S. grade level required to comprehend the text based on sentence length and syllable count. Multiple studies of his unscripted speeches, interviews, debates, and off-the-cuff remarks consistently place his language at a **4th-grade level**—the lowest among the last 15 U.S. presidents.

### Key Findings from Analyses:
- **Factba.se Analysis (2018)**: Examined the first 30,000 unscripted words from each president since Herbert Hoover. Trump's Flesch-Kincaid score was 4.0, with the simplest vocabulary (2,605 unique words) and shortest average sentence length. This gap to the next simplest (Harry Truman at ~5.0) was the largest recorded.
- **2016 Campaign Study (Kayam, 2018)**: Analyzed 10 interviews and debates using Flesch-Kincaid, SMOG, and Gunning-Fog formulas. Trump's language required a 4th- to 5th-grade level (ages 9–11), compared to an average 9th-grade level for other candidates.
- **Carnegie Mellon University (2016)**: Campaign speeches scored most candidates at 6th–8th grade, but Trump at 4th–7th grade depending on the metric (vocabulary vs. grammar).
- **Politico Analysis (2015)**: Debate responses scored at 4th grade; a news conference at 3rd grade, emphasizing heavy use of simple words like "great," "very," and "I."
- **Recent Reddit Data Visualization (2024)**: Over 1,000 transcripts and 4 million words from campaigns confirmed Trump at the lowest grade level (~4th), with no downward trend over time.

Note that scripted speeches, like State of the Union addresses, score higher (e.g., 8th grade for Trump's first), but the question focuses on his "normal" speaking style, which refers to unscripted content. This simplicity is often attributed to his media-savvy approach for broad accessibility, though it contrasts with more complex historical presidents like Abraham Lincoln (11th grade).

Don't be surprised. After 40 years of Republican's eroding public education, over half of the nation reads at a 6th grade level or lower, and they can't even tell how unintelligent he is when he speaks.

It's in the GOP's best interest to keep as many of their supporters ignorant, because the one's that aren't will want a piece of the pie to support their policies.

I don't know whether this guy is going to end up doing a good job or not. But I know Bigoted RepubLIARs will find cause to denigrate whther it is about Barrak wearing a tan suit, Michelle promoting healthier lunches for school kid, or making GOP pedophiles accountable.

Yes, Republicans are the evil masterminds behind the erosion of our public education system. They were so smart that for 40 years they’ve kept liberals in charge of our schools to accomplish their goal.

Then why is Mississippi education improved so much. My wife is amazing teacher then principal. Last year as a principal her 1st graders read about 1600 books. She had about 16 1st graders so they read about 100 books each. Some kids did more. Anytime during her education career anytime test scores improved it was because of kids reading more like they did in Mississippi to get their test scores up.

Lol "kept liberals in charge of our schools".

I wonder why people willing to sacrifice of themselves and teach in America for low pay, have to spend their own money on their classroom supplies with no reimbursement and only a pitiful tax break, tend to not vote Republican?

They don't want to work in the real world and/or lack ability.

Actually, its most of the blue areas that is the problem brotator chip. I actually want to stop basically all funding until a handle on all the loons in education. Education is mostly a local and state issue. If you feel like the inner city isn't doing what they should in education where you live, that's on you and the people that live there.

Also, let's be honest - Donald Trump is a traditional centrist democrat and certainly didn't have much to do with education either way in his life.

My son just graduated college decided to go to back and get his masters to be a teacher. He is doing it because he wants to help kids. My wife has almost 25 years in and we have never spent our own money on supplies.

The eroding started when Carter created the Department of Education for a money laundering scheme for Democrats. So you got the 40 year thing right just been a little longer

Republicans have been scared of education (especially higher edu) ever since they have believed it’s a breeding ground for liberalism, which it is, but not for the reasons they believe it is.

Anyone who has been to college knows that it exposes you to cultures and interaction with people that most Americans would never come across in their home towns. You see that people from different cities, states, countries, and continents can live, learn, and thrive together in a cohesive environment, and that people from other places aren’t scary or abstract, they are just people. That’s why colleges and universities have been fostering liberal ideals since forever.

Thanks to the Department of Education and Teachers Unions.

Because they have been brainwashed?

Trump keeps insisting that prices are down on everything. He pointed to Wal mart Thanksgiving package being down 25 percent !!! Yay !!!!

Oh. They reduced the contents by 1/3.

Trump is either delusional or thinks the MAGA base is so dumb they'll believe what he says, despite their own daily experiences.
Costco gas at $2.22, I got the 93 for $2.89 with all the money saved under Trump.

And Charlie Kirk was right about college. It is a scam

Define low pay? My wife works 10 months out the year, has another 4 weeks built in of vacation and is home by 4:30.

We have no issue paying to help offset the cost she needs to help cover her classes. 25% off tuition for college is a perk in recouping cost.
