Yeah, we're ready for ETSU tonight....We dare them refs to pull that stuff here on our home turf.

Not predicting a score on this one. Easy win for the LVs for sure. Instead of running an over matched team into the ground for a hugely lopsided victory, might it be wise to slow down on occasion and practice a little half court offense? It's gonna be necessary against the better teams we face.

Lots of posters predicting ETSU scoring in the 40s. We only held one team below 50 points all year last season, and that was TAMU in the SEC tournament (77-37). With our pace it's hard to keep the other team scoring that low, but that would be a great sign and a statement if we did it today (e.g., stopping any breakaway layups against the press).

That really puts into perspectiv how pitiful of a performance A&M had in that game. (1st half of our first game, too)

I think we'll do it more than once this season. Massey projects us (as the #35 defense) to do it to ETSU, Coppin, and Winthrop. Projects Tennessee-Martin and Southern Indiana just barely abov 50.

I gave us 107 points, but I really think were going to blow up 100 more like maybe 130. I can't say that ETSU this season is much if any better than Columbus State. Looks like a route to me more than the predictions that were made including mine.

Question for the group. What is the purpose of wholesale substitutions at each opportunity. Doesn’t seem to allow for players getting into the flow of the game.
