This thread has sort of morphed into who might be good at the next level. Superstar status? We have had about 3 in my lifetime. White, Manning and maybe Berry
True. Superstar is such a high bar anyway. How many can the average person name in the league today that would be even considered superstars? Mahones certainly. Josh Allen, Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen?

We've had a lot of guys since I started following in the late 80s that had very nice careers... Anthony Miller, Al Wilson, Tim McGee, Terry McDaniel, Dale Carter, Jamal Lewis, Alvin Harper, etc. but I wouldn't call any of them superstars. Lewis was at the top of the game for runningbacks for a short time with the Ravens, but he didn't stay at the top very long.

The next true NFL star? We probably haven’t heard of him. You could argue Trey Smith is. Kamara was. Those are probably the only 2 we have had in the post Fulmer era (I count Berry as Fulmer era).

There are guys I like on this team, but I don’t anticipate NFL Superstardom in their futures. I guess we should hope it is Faizon Brandon.

Charlie Garner was All pro twice and made several pro bowls. Arian Foster was All pro and made a couple of pro bowls before he got hurt. People forget Craig Puki had a great career in SF. Pickens made a few pro bowls too.

This question got me thinking about the WB situation. It’s hard to believe that not one starting NFL QB is from UT. Manning was the last one.

Dobbs started a few games for the Vikings. Bray was a backup for yrs. Milton is a backup and Hendo was recently cut from the panthers practice squad.

We have a few receivers /RBs in the league, but nobody dominant.

It has been rough for the skill position players. Byron Young is having a heck of a season though, 3rd in the league in sacks.

What's interesting about the NFL. When the players start naming the schools they are from, so many of them are from smaller programs you never heard of.

Eric Berry is on the list.
Nominated for the 2026 NFL Hall of Fame class (1st year he is eligible) and likely to be in on the first ballot.

Trey Smith may make it on the list someday too.

As far as next 'Superstar", I don't think he's yet on this team.
There are a couple on the team now that will be great, but not sure they will be HOF / Superstar level...likely the closest will be Brazell or Josephs.
Depending on what situation they get drafted into, could turn out as 'Superstars'.
Love seeing Trey in the State Farm commercials. That's the next step to being a superstar.

There are only a few superstars relatively speaking. Manning was our last one. We have a had a bunch that were damn good, made all pro and maybe several pro bowls. Witten was damn good, but probably not a superstar. Should be HOF. I guess maybe HOF status could be synonymous with "superstar". Really though, superstar is saved for someone with multiple MVPs. There are very few. Like I said, Manning

Crazy thread.
