There are only a few superstars relatively speaking. Manning was our last one. We have a had a bunch that were damn good, made all pro and maybe several pro bowls. Witten was damn good, but probably not a superstar. Should be HOF. I guess maybe HOF status could be synonymous with "superstar". Really though, superstar is saved for someone with multiple MVPs. There are very few. Like I said, Manning

Crazy thread.

Don't forget Atkins and White are HOF'ers. I'd say both those guys are "superstar" worthy.

Yeah, of course. I said Manning was the last one we have had
Eric Berry is on the list.
Nominated for the 2026 NFL Hall of Fame class (1st year he is eligible) and likely to be in on the first ballot.

Trey Smith may make it on the list someday too.

As far as next 'Superstar", I don't think he's yet on this team.
There are a couple on the team now that will be great, but not sure they will be HOF / Superstar level...likely the closest will be Brazell or Josephs.
Depending on what situation they get drafted into, could turn out as 'Superstars'.

Forgot about Berry, but I am not sure he would have ever been superstar status. He was definitely one of the top 5 players in the league at his position.

I guess the question is what do you define as superstar? Is it someone that could be the face of their team or the league or is it someone that is top of their position and considered among the greats to play that position.

Yeah - let's start with the definition of 'Superstar".

5 Pro Bowls, 3 All-pro teams, NFL HoF, do they need a SB Ring?

Byron Young may be the closest thing we have currently in the NFL. Near the top in sacks so far this year. Not forgetting Tre Smith, it's just hard for OL to be considered superstars.

I expect Brazzell to do well in the NFL, if he gets with a decent team. Of course, McCoy and Hood have potential.

OLinemen are always the unsung heroes of football. Arguably the second most important position in the league, yet most people can only name a select few.

But Trey is one of those few that has that visibility right now, so I think he will be remembered, at least. Hard to see him ever being considered a superstar, but just being remembered goes a long way for an OL.
