He’s laid back until he gets cornered. He needs to have that edge on game days.Anyone else think Josh seemed mad in his presser today? I liked it. Made me think he wants to drop 100 on FL and Vandy if he can and win out. I don’t think he likes being questioned or fans questioning him. I liked the attitude how he answered some questions today.
lmao....Coker shouldn't have been fired. The man won a national championship. He had a winning % of .800 only behind Johnson and Erickson. What happened after Coker was fired? Miami turned into mediocre garbage just like Nebraska.I disagree man. Nebraska was elite and was coming off a national title. Once Crouch graduated, the program was headed in a downward spiral.
Using his record as justification is like saying Coker shouldn't have been fired at Miami because he was 60-15.
If Fulmer had been allowed to leave on his terms, he would still be HC todayMike Hamilton firing CPF and hiring that punk Kiffin was the cause of our 15 years of misery. Both Fulmer and Richt got screwed, Kirby won with Richt's players and Fulmer should have been allowed to leave on his terns and not in the publicly humiliating way that it was done by that punk Hamilton.
The talk at the time was that "The ceiling is 10 wins with Fulmer," just like now. People are stupid and they keep making the same stupid mistakes.
I agree with what you're are saying but I'm going to add some nuance to this. I think the majority of us saying we are good with Heupel all want us to strive for a championship as that should always be the goal. The majority of the disagreement is centered on what is the more prudent path if you fall short of the goal? I say as long as you are in the discussion and the team continues to compete at a high level you should stay the course as that is the more proven path to continued success. We are not losers with a loser mentality, we are more analytical in our approach and like to make more measured decisions not grounded in emotions. I have confidence that Danny White and Heupel are wanting to make the next step and will do everything they can to achieve the goal. I personally think they have earned the right to try and achieve that goal. I also understand the likelihood of achieving that goal is remote and will take some good fortune and breaks. Most of the schools that have fired successful coaches this season will be taking a step back in the name of "we demand excellence" and that is a statistical fact. Winners are measured and meticulous and not emotional divas.I understand both sides of the spectrum. One crowd is saying "we've seen the 9 and 10 win seasons for the last 3 or 4 years. What's the next step to achieve more".
The other crowd is saying " we're good with 9 or 10 wins per year, because it's brings stability to the sport that we haven't had in 15 years".
It's whatever you prefer... I'm from the AL Davis era, " just win baby"..
Yeah, would be a disaster season. Still shouldn't be fired, but would be on the hot seat heading into next year I think. Just the way it is now.Imagine if we go 7-5 how much heat some fans will put on him
