Yes I just watched it. I thought the engines stalled, but it looks like he just got disoriented and pointed the nose down and could not recover. Cool video though

I've avoided VN like the plague...a large chunk of this fanbase has descended into pure asinine stupidity, and I absolutely despise the ungrateful 💩heads for it.

You like arguing with them and you are good at it...I just want to smash them all in the face with a 2×4 and I wish they would all go away.

I can not believe so many have forgotten so easily how bad we were for so long. All of the intelligent common sense responses you are making to their putrid thought vomit just go right over their moronic chaos drama loving heads.

I wish Heupel would get a better job offer and take it at this point...he doesn't deserve what this fanbase is going to do to him. We deserve whatever 💩 gets poured out on us.

Maybe also to smooth out the experience curve on the roster? That’s sort of covered under 2, but more like: “lack of development because you haven’t been here long enough to develop.”

I hear ya, it seems as if the FF has invaded the RF. And as far as Heup goes, he has been in coach long enough to develop thick skin and learned to ignore morons who don't know their buthole from a beehive.

Well Kirby won with a team stacked with NFL level talent two years in a row then he came back to Earth to some degree Once he was not as stacked.

They were Superman and unstopped with that Talent now they struggle to be off charts.

They are a couple of plays and calls this year from being 3 loss.

Elite, other than Ohio State, I am not sure we are ever going to see 3 teams Dominate year after year. The only reason I say OSU is because their schedule allows them to stay healthy and make playoffs every year.

Those 2 domination years, Kirby had easy schedules. it’s going to be interesting to see how he does with the new 9 game SEC schedules moving forward.

Out of curiosity, if we do end up going 7-5, would Heups seat get warm, or at least the stove turned on in a sense? Im not implying that I want this to happen or I think it will, because I dont. -end the season 2-4
-losing record in conference play
-no momentum or confidence for next year

At 7-5 some of the fanbase will turn against Heupel. It’s hard to win those people back after they’ve made up their mind.

Tier 2: Elko, Freeman, Sark

Tier 3: Kiffin, Lanning, Huepel, Cristabol, Cignetti (would move up if he goes somewhere else), Texas Tech boosters

My point is, I read on this board or hear the LSU talk, etc…. that this coach will never or that coach has never won a NC. Well thats because it’s hard. That last step is big one.

To get to NC, you have to build culture, then have stability and then you have to improve every year. CJH must find a way to Improve the defense just like he is constantly tweaking offense. One day he might take that last big step but I laugh at all those that say he has 3 years and if he hasn’t gotten then in 3 years he never will.

Who knows the last step is hard and few mortal coaches on the sidelines have done it.

Patience really is a virtue…

But just to win more than we lose and not win anything of substance is crazy to me. People need higher expectations of our program and honestly their own life. Be a winner and demand winning in all things.

I'll be honest...I'm kind of tired of the word "elite" being used...it's vague and subjective. I don't give a **** if the roster is 2 and 3 stars or full of 4 and 5 stars, end of the day all that matters is winning double digit games. Half the yahoos that rate/rank HS talent get it wrong anyway and if we're gauging it by the amount of players heading to the NFL isn't that mostly based on college production and exposure any damn way?

Byron Young is a physical beast...what was his HS rating? Not a single damn person thought he was elite until AFTER he developed under RG for 2 years.

Yep. The new method of negativity is to say I’m not saying we should fire Heupel, BUT….. Followed by 30 questions with a clear agenda to minimize everything he’s done and to question his ability. It’s passive aggressive behavior with a clear agenda to sow doubt and question his ability. It’s frustrating but pretty clear it won’t change. This forum like’s too make fun of the football forum but is getting closer by the day. Look who’s no longer here and what has filled the void? We do still have some reasonable fans but it’s getting harder to ignore all the nonsense. Thank goodness Freak has the ignore feature.

Richt would have literally qualified for the playoffs nearly every year he coached at Georgia. He is a winner and a good human being.

If we win a lot more than we lose then we will have made the playoffs many times.

I’ll take that even without winning a NC.

My life has nothing to do with college football 😂. CFB is purely entertainment.

My only changes

Tier 1 - no change
Tier 2 - Elko, Cignetti, Cristabol
Sark (if he manages 10 wins this season he'll be Tier 2)
Tier 3 - Kiffin, Lanning, Heupel, Freeman

Not sure Sark is legit Tier 2 or not...he's only had 2 10 win seasons and could end this season 1-2 and be sitting at 8-4.
Freeman inherited a moving train at ND, still playing cupcakes most the year if he was doing the same thing in Big 10 or SEC he'd be Tier 2 fringe Tier 1, but until ND wins it all or reaches a few more title games I'd have him Tier 3.

To win 9 games a year out of 12 is 75%, to win 10 games a year it's 83.3%.

So I agree 74% for 8 years isn't really enough...much rather see 9 wins being the floor and more 10+ win seasons. We know it's possible and with Heupel now establishing his culture and rebuilding the brand if recruiting stays top 10 consistently then results should improve as well over the next 8 years.
