hell Im focused on the toddler leagueIt’s never too soon to discuss anything.
Speaking of, @bignewt, how are the ‘28 and ‘29 classes shaping up?
Banks was safeties coach for the last four years and still technically is. Brought in Alan (NFL DC) to be an analyst and help coach safeties. Martinez coaches the corners and star.Maybe someone can confirm. I heard Banks doesn’t actually coach safeties. STAR and Safeties are coached by Martinez. Would make sense because as a coordinator you are more focused on game plan and less on coaching a position.

Probably several other portals as well. The hope is most of those are depth players. I think we lost about 10 last season.
I think one of our off-field assistants actually coaches them.
He is a former NFL DC and coached DBs in the NFLWhich to me seems stupid...
We have 2 full time coaches that handle LBs which is the smallest defensive group on the team.
DL is RG
OLB is Chop
ILB is Inge
And then you're handing off all the Secondary to Willie and an off-field assistant with who knows how much actual experience.
Oklahoma needs to stay dedicated to their run game. I don’t think they can beat Alabama, but they could keep it close and give themselves a chance.Oklahoma's front 7 was legit. They literally whipped us at the line of scrimmage. Joey made some bad decisions, but what quarterback doesn't struggle when getting hammered consistently. I actually think Oklahoma will give Alabama fits and won't be surprised if they somehow pull out a win. I don't think Alabama can run on them and we will see how Ty Simpson is under pressure. Not sure Oklahoma will score much that game either but they have a very good defense which tends to keep you in the game. Venables is also one of the brightest defensive minds in the game.
You are delusional.I don’t buy it. The LSU faithful wouldn’t go for this one bit. I’m of the camp that Heupel can get it done with the right staff, but even I acknowledge that Heupel hasn’t won enough here for LSU to come calling. I could honestly see him being called by a VT or an Auburn type program, but not LSU. He’ll be our coach in 2026.
You’re an idiot for thinking this is a argumentThis all I am going to say because unlike Glenn Beck I don't argue with idiots. Starters start for a reason and first round picks are first round picks for a reason. Next man up is coach speak and a motivational tool but is not true. There is no team in the country that would be the same if they lost several of their best players. Take the three best people off any defense and they won't be as good. Period

Who else would you guys expect to see portal?
any ideas on portal additions or important areas of need?
