Joey is a good qb, yes he had a bad game, but it was not all on him. Not a good game plan for a team Hype should have known would put a lot of pressure on our qb. And if coaching staff watched game film on Okl. should have known we would not be successful running the same running plays up the middle. We do need to be successful in the run game. But you can use different running schemes than just the same plays we have been running. And more quick hitting passes like we did to start the game. Just from watching some of the games OKl has played I knew we couldn't run up the middle on them.Back when Nico left. He said the people celebrating the stance coach took will be singing a different song come mid fall.
And he was right. I know there is more to the story than just that. There are sprinkles of questionable play calls, poor clock management, failure to change out coaches who are in over their head etc. But he was spot on all the same.
With a great quarterback this year to complement what turned out to be a really good wide receiver corp, a lot of warts we saw may have never came to light. Not that Nico would have been a sure thing, but it’s a point worth examining. Had our offense been lights out, our defense would have had an easier go at it. We also wouldn’t have seen so many questionable decision making situations because the score might not have allowed for it.
We have a good class coming in next year. We just may be close to turning that corner. Let’s hope we can all hang on and that it does pan out in the end. Lord knows we could use it.
Do you watch football. We are much better at the QB this year with Joey than we would be with Nico. Meyer was totally wrong and so are you if you think we would be better with Nico.Back when Nico left. You drunk? Joey with the turnovers has been way ahead of Nico so you and Urban both don’t know what you’re talking aboutBack when Nico left. He said the people celebrating the stance coach took will be singing a different song come mid fall.

I have zero confidence that this Coaching Staff (Head Coach Included) can EVER get it done. Heuple initially benefitted from Cornbread's recruiting, and that has ended. So you and Urban Meyer think we need Nico back? I hate to break it to you, but Meyer flipped on that stance. You’re the only one who thinks Nico should still be here.Back when Nico left. He said the people celebrating the stance coach took will be singing a different song come mid fall.

No, he's been consistently bad at all of those things since he's been here. We're better at QB than we have been since Hendon.Back when Nico left. He said the people celebrating the stance coach took will be singing a different song come mid fall.

Let's talk about QB's. Let's examine this through 'with a great quarterback we could...'Back when Nico left. He said the people celebrating the stance coach took will be singing a different song come mid fall.

At least Pruitt left some talent. And scholarship reductions is a lost argument now. How long has NIL been in place? 3rd year? This is Heuple's 5th. He's had the opportunity to buy players, and has mismanaged that. You Josh supporters will eventually see who he is. Maybe.Yeah those 50 scholarship players left over from Pruitt really made it easy on Heupel
You don't have to be a "Josh supporter" to acknowledge that Pruitt nuked the program on his way out. You just had to pay attention during the transition but it appears you did not. Using him as a positive example is mind blowingAt least Pruitt left some talent. And scholarship reductions is a lost argument now. How long has NIL been in place? 3rd year? This is Heuple's 5th. Check the OLine and Dline Pruitt left. Check NFL rosters for them. It is a LOS game. Heuple would get a pass for the first 3 years, but after NIL, no way no how. Even with a few limitations, if you are competent, you can fill your roster with outstanding talent. What is the excuse for THIS year? Scholarships? Cignetti took his entire team (from JMAD no Less) to Indiana and went from 3-9 to 11-2 in Year ONE. No, I think that little of Nico. Joey in Heup's system is the reason why we have had so much success. You really think that little of Josh Heupel? Wow
Pearce, Sampson, Thornton, and Lott where all CJH guys. They are all better then anything Pruitt left. His 1st real class are all seniors this year. 3 of the 6 OL players this year are CJH guys, all 6 if you count the portal guys. 3 of them look like they are destined for the NFL. The only lineman Pruitt produced are D. Wright, Mays, Thomas and Simmons. The last 2 aren't even playing, Pearce and Lott have been much more productive. Heard and Sanders will be comparable to Wright. Perry has a good chance to develop into a NFL lineman also.Check the OLine and Dline Pruitt left. Check NFL rosters for them. It is a LOS game. Troll job. Just look at Nico and Joey's stats this season. Aguilar has had an all SEC type season thus far. His stats were crazy last night, but his turnovers lost Tennessee the game
