Hype built our expectations that we can and will have a realistic championship level football program. So I’m gonna tell you what I tell myself:
I can’t change this. I hate how it feels to lose a game we should’ve won, but nothing I do or don’t do has any effect on anything re: our beloved football Volunteers. I’m gonna keep cheering for them, just as I did through Dooley and dipsh*t and Pruitt. Nothing else to do.
We JUST made the playoff a year ago. We had a NY6 bowl and our first 11-win season since 2001 a short 3 years ago. It’s so much better than it was.
Yes, I’m disappointed. Even a little mad. But when all is said and done, there’s no other team in any sport I’d rather be a fan of.
Like I said earlier. It's hard to stay there. In the SEC you are either ascending or descending. We all said we'd never complain about 8-4 again, yet here we are. Success brings new expectations. Fans won't be satisfied with those seasons consistently.
Listen you guys, step back from the ledge,
We have the best set up that we’ve had in 25 years as far as the governor of our state, the president of our state university, the university chancellor, the athletic director and the coaches of our major sports programs. Take a deep breath and just look at the mess that LSU is. We are fine.

So basically what you are saying fans need to accept being a mid tier SEC team? No expectations of competing for championships? And that though process is how you end up in the desert wondering like the Hebrews for 2 decades post Fulmer.
With the CFP and new 9 game SEC schedule and no expanded playoffs, fans better get their emotions for changing coaches in check or they will be like the Hebrews and in the desert for 4 decades instead of the 2 decades the VOLS ended up in the football desert.

I think he’s really good regardless of how pissed I may seem
I think his staff is light years below his level and I think he knows that but his connections with some of this staff outweigh the problems he sees and he thinks they can improve and fix them
I hope he makes sweeping off season changes
I asked you a question and you wrote a novel and never answered the question. The thought process you show is why so many schools in this new era ala Auburn, LSU will be paying multiple coaches buyouts at same time.
You might want to brush up on Tortoise and the Hare for this new world of college football.
If you can’t see the slow steady progresss CJH is making from the dumpster he inherited then nothing I can say will open your eyes.
I said many pages ago, constant improvement and changes must be made but he didn’t inherit the Alabama roster, he inherited a mess under probation. Heck UT had trouble getting any well thought of coaches to even Interview for the job. Thats what CJH inherited.
You do your sky is falling and I will do my, slow but steady progress is good.
Oh, and how many years does he need? We are in year 5. We talking 10, 15? I'm not getting any younger. The thought process you show is why so many schools in this new era ala Auburn, LSU will be paying multiple coaches buyouts at same time.

Well I mean you answered my question here with a bunch of political speech so i returned the favor.Who knows? If it goes down that path, I don't think it will be hard to get an 8-4, 9-3 level coach. Y'all go on an on about DW's prowess at hiring coaches. I'm sure he can get us a good one if it comes to that. I never said he should be fired.
