GMAC should start every game the rest of the way. Season is shot, get him some burn so he’s got the experience for next season and beyond.
I agree with this. If he doesn't get meaningful game experience, we're gonna be in deep sh*t next year at the QB position. If they bring in a transfer QB, you're back in the same position the following year.

should special teams coach be let go....TN has done nothing really special on special teams this year....two lost games to missed but makable field goals...?

If Heupel wants a sacrificial lamb here’s a good place to start. Special teams have been d-----t across the board. Gilbert and Boo have regressed, none of our returners can field the ball. Dudes constantly let the ball roll instead of downing it costing us precious field position.

fat and unshaven. Probably undisciplined. Got to go.

Just read something from the Ole Miss mod on 247 about Lane Kiffin. No idea if it's true or not. These writers say a lot of things, but he says LSU was an option for Kiffin until the Governor did that ridiculous press conference where he attacked everyone from his own AD to Jimmy Sexton. I guess Sexton probably has some hard feelings about all that. Seems like the sort of guy who would.

He says that there's going to be an offer from Florida and it will be up to Kiffin whether to stay or go. It's the only opening they seem concerned about.
I have a friend who is a bull gator, who seems to think it’s happening.

There are a lot of vacancies this year and most schools won’t get their top choices. I don’t think Heupel is looking to leave but I would think some schools will be asking. How many coaches are better than him?
There's a few. If Fl gets kiff they'll definitely upgrade. We'll see. I'd hate to be looking for a coach this year. Like I've always said, this always comes down to a financial decision. Is your coach worth keeping. Is his cost, buyout, staff's buyouts, new coaches salaries, etc.. offset the cost of lost revenue? Heup could go 2-10 and as long as people are willing to throw money at Danny White, he'll retire here. These are always spreadsheet decisions.

That’s not true at all, Franklin typically destroyed lesser opponents. He was fired bc he could never win a big game. Sure, they had some bad losses this season, but the built up issues that got him canned were the constant losing to OSU, Oregon, etc.
I meant this year. If he had beaten Nico (For example) then I don't think he'd have lost his job.

Losing causes turmoil. Preferential treatment causes a divided locker room. Players want to win. When one side of the ball is perceiving they're doing their job while the other isn't, causes division. One or two players can poison the unity. Coach has his hands full. The next few weeks will tell us a lot.
Yeah , in high school JV basketball I sat on the bench behind better players and had a good coach and we didn’t lose and I was happy to do my part when he put me in.

The next year I sat on the bench behind players I was better than , didn’t like the new coach and we lost games we should have won. I was a pist off sob and refused to go in the game once with around 2 minutes left after not playing all night.

Add to it when players are getting paid. One player getting paid a lot and doesn't give 100%. So many dynamics.

Wins and ticket sales tend to have a correlation. Even I would fire Heupel at 2-10. I really don’t think Heupel is looking but with the amount of vacancies he’s got to have some suitors. Did you see what Nebraska gave Matt Rhule? Seems like Heupel is better than him? The whole system is just out of control. I think we generally agree?

Everyone on here saying they're not saying to fire Heupel, but it's seems to me that there's a lot of you who wouldn't be upset if he left.
I think he’s really good regardless of how pissed I may seem

I think his staff is light years below his level and I think he knows that but his connections with some of this staff outweigh the problems he sees and he thinks they can improve and fix them

I hope he makes sweeping off season changes
