Yeah good enough doesn't last forever. The grace period is about over. Fan apathy is the next step if you're not careful with good enough.. If Heupel wants to stay long term he better do some soul searching and fix some things in the off-season.Agree, we’re in that middle ground of better off than we were for a long time but not where we think we should be (based on fanbase, facilities, significance of the program to the state). “Good enough” is my new term for the Heupel era.
Exactly! And throwing on 4th and 1 to a true freshman TE. I don't understand why we struggle so bad in short yardage situations. We even struggle try to run in the redzone. JA has been forced many times to throw inside the 10 because we can't run it that close to end zone. Not sure if it's play calling, run blocking or not having a physical RB for those situations.I’d love to agree. But watching us run the ball up the gut for a 2 yd loss-while under 11 mins and down by two scores really makes one pump the brakes.

And when it happened, Saban handled it.Yes. Bama lost under Saban due to undisciplined play with stupid penalties and self-inflicted errors.
Agree don't you think that we are as well. Looking forward it is going to be a tight race on a 9 game SEC schedule. Something has got to give.Fair. They completely blew that Texas game though. They’re not a bad team. Typical middle of the pack SEC team that can beat and lose to about any other SEC team. Like us.
Well I guess I pull for vandy then! (NOT)! Look everyone is entitled to their opinions and you know what they say about opinions don’t you? But telling long time vol fans like myself to pull for another team because we see that heupel just doesn’t have it. Is like someone that mever served a day in uniform telling me that because I don’t support a certain political agenda that i don’t love my country! Give me a damn break!!!!’Well said !! It’s took this long to recover from firing Fulmer !!
People like you are why we will never see Tennessee win anything of significance again.Give him a 9/10. He is the future here. Make no mistake about it. He took a team coming off a CFP and lost the starting qb because he is a man of principles. He was a few plays from doing this back to back. He also had key injuries. We may only win one more game, but as for me, I have seen a lot of UT coaches come and go, a lot of loyal players come and go, and I stand with Coach 100%. If you don’t believe in him go pull for Vandy.
And where was the spy on Mateer? Once again absent. Have no idea why Banks can’t figure this out on 3rd and longs. If you’re playing a QB that has wheels, those are the downs and distance you really need a spy.

Richt would have probably had around 8 teams that would have made the current 12 team playoff during his tenure. I would be beyond ecstatic if Heupel does that at UT.While I get the sentiment and understand how all of you may feel......worried that you found your Mark Richt, Heupel doesn't deserve to be compared to any of those bums
I want Hype here, but I do not understand at all some of his decisions in game time. especially at the end of the first half, and at the end of the game. Clock management is terribleGive him a 9/10.
