I applaud Coach Heupel !

Give him a 9/10. He is the future here. Make no mistake about it. He took a team coming off a CFP and lost the starting qb because he is a man of principles. He was a few plays from doing this back to back. He also had key injuries. We may only win one more game, but as for me, I have seen a lot of UT coaches come and go, a lot of loyal players come and go, and I stand with Coach 100%. If you don’t believe in him go pull for Vandy.
Me too. I'm no longer worried about Florida beating us and knocking us out of the playoffs. That tension is all gone! Thanks! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤫

One request though, is that we knock that turd Vandy QB out of the playoffs;)

Most of us thought we would not be as good this year, but mainly because we lost our starting qb after spring practice and our receivers were suspect. And that would have been somewhat understandable and acceptable. However, I doubt anyone thought we would be so poor on fundamentals (tackling, run blocking, busted assignments, penalties, poor football IQ, questionable coaching decisions, etc). There is no excuse for this level of poor execution. Look at Vandy - they have a team full of 2 and 3 star athletes and they play much better disciplined football than we do. It's one thing to play a good game and still lose, but to lose because of your own self inflicted mistakes is another. We will never be a championship level team until this improves on both sides of the ball. Coach H deserves a chance to correct this during the off season, but if this continues next year then changes are needed.

Don't forget kicking. Gilbert is hurting us too. Some of these kicks are consequential. As others were saying around us in the crowd. He has one job.

Bad luck is part of the game, believe it or not, especially when you’re not good enough to overcome catastrophic mistakes. It’s not realistic to expect us to be that good every year. We were expected to be a fringe playoff team at best. A team that needed the ball to bounce their way to make it in. It didn’t. That isn’t an excuse that’s just the truth.
Especially UT's games. After watching college football for 50+ years, I can honestly say (In general) that I have never seen an unluckier team. If **** is going to happen, it happens to us!🤫🤔

Well, at least there is ONE person applauding him. I doubt there are many today. Penalties, clock management, road losses, losing to AL, OK, FL, GA and Vandy in 1 season..... doesn't seem worth of "applause". But, you go bro, think what you think.
Have we beat a team with a winning record this year?

Joey turned the ball over 3 times because he was under pressure and getting hit every time he dropped back. (Credit Venables for his plan.) All 3 turnovers were from getting hit. O line was abysmal and the coaches never adjusted the blocking scheme.
Once. The two interceptions were terrible, ill advised throws

Keeping a DC who gives up a 20 yard QB run on 3rd and 19 makes me pump the breaks. That’s the one that did me in.
And where was the spy on Mateer? Once again absent. Have no idea why Banks can’t figure this out on 3rd and longs. If you’re playing a QB that has wheels, those are the downs and distance you really need a spy.

This is refreshing to hear from a head football coach making millions to lose games.

“No one will be available tonight, it’s on me,” Deion Sanders said at the start of his postgame press conference. “Don’t attack the coordinators, come at me. Don’t attack the players. Come at me. This is me. This has nothing to do with none of them. It has everything to do with me.”

~Deion Samders last night after being blown out by Arizona at home.

While I get the sentiment and understand how all of you may feel......worried that you found your Mark Richt, Heupel doesn't deserve to be compared to any of those bums
Agree, we’re in that middle ground of better off than we were for a long time but not where we think we should be (based on fanbase, facilities, significance of the program to the state). “Good enough” is my new term for the Heupel era.

Richt was a great coach and UGA was really lucky with Smart. They make that same move 10 times and 9/10 it doesn’t work out like it did. They happened to hit the 1.

Hear Hear!

Took a small school kid at QB, trained him up after spring practice completed, and will win 7/8 games with him.

May be his best work

Are you still going to feel that way when we get a real schedule and lose 4-5 games next year

We had one on him for a good chunk of the game. Why not there? That’s was aggravating for sure.
