Heupel seems stubborn, like Fulmer used to be. It may take DW taking a hard line to see staff changes. I don't think Heupel likes that aspect of the job.

We still need to recruit better, in both high school and portal recruiting. This year's HS class is good with a chance to be better, IF we can hold it together. We're in prime poaching season when it comes to recruits. Hoping we don't lose anyone we don't want to lose.

We’re not losing anyone. In fact, likely going to gain a couple more soon. Recruiting is fine this year.

Who is? Honestly. Not rumors but who actually interviews him and wants him as their coach. Because no one has asked him to interview yet for any opening in college right now. And there are many.

We squandered the playoffs by losing two very winnable home games. The opportunity was right there and we didn’t take it.

Preach! The only action plan I would have is to kindly ask him to clean out his office. Truth is the defense played well enough to win. It was a total failure from top to bottom last night.

McElwain and Mullen both went to the SEC championship game which we haven’t been to since 2007.

What are we accepting then?

And they fired both quickly. They fire anyone who doesn’t win quick. They didn’t get the next hires right but they will fire and keep trying until they do. Because they don’t accept not winning. I’m not sure what our record would be if we had Floridas schedule for the last two years.

Alex Rodriguez on the post game show last night stated" Dodgers brought in over a BILLION dollars in Revenue and have a top 3 farm system. This Franchise will strive for years". Plus people complaining, MLB was UP in attendance for the 3rd year in a row, the other 3 major sports can't say that....

My opinion from last nights game:
1. no one needs to be fired bc of this…. we can’t react so dramatically.
2. This issues that plagued us were prevalent during his UCF days and I am not sure it will get better
3. Any time a coach is forced to fire/ hire new coaches then it rarely is a net positive.
4. It is his team and he is responsible for all of it. If he can’t fix the issues then it will be time to move on.
5. I absolutely hate the new scared Josh. We need to be the bad boys of football and not this scared to lose nonsense.
6. Go Vols…. Beat Florida!!!

The writing is on the wall for Heupel. He’ll be given a chance to fix it this offseason but a repeat **** 8-4 year next year I think he’s gone IMO. And our schedule is twice as hard next year.

He’s lost any goodwill with the fans and there are massive red flags with him. He needs to hire actual coaches and hire someone specifically for clock management assistance.

1. Not saying Banks needs to be fired, but at the very least, we need to hire a new safeties coach.
2. I'm not entirely convinced Heupel knows what the issues are.
3. It should only be forced if it's obvious a change needs to be made, and he seems unwilling to do it.
4. We need to spend more on defense. He shops offense like a fat kid in a candy store, but he skimps on defense.
5. I'm not sure if he's scared or just doesn't give a damn. Watch his pressers. Coach speak. Very little passion.
