Luttrell to OC and play calling. Don’t extend Hazle
Analysts for rules and clock
Hire a proven TE coach and make alban an analyst again

I’m over third and banks but it’s becoming very obvious that his defense kept Heupels seat from being warm in 23 and 24. Without his elite defense, we would have been bad.

I could give the defensive staff another year to portal and recruit to see what they can do. We need to keep this class in tact and use excess funds to portal some studs. Afraid if we make too many changes, we will see some deflections and this class is great.
I don't see this class sticking as is..... Maybe we keep 3/4 but will the right 3/4 of players sick?

Changing the subject but Kirby Smart is so freaking lucky. That team he's coaching this year is not that good.
It’s almost as if good coaches find ways to put his team in position to win

It’s very rare to have players win despite the coach, but it does happen sometimes. Chizik, Ed O, Dabo (although that was also great assistants) for example

Offensively next year will be the most talented team he’s ever had. But do you just roll out an inexperienced QB? I don’t think you can in this era. That could cost him his job.

I think we get a portal QB because Merk transfers out. Might as well get an experienced one. If GMAC is legit, he will win the job fair and square. That’s the way I look at it.

These aren’t the older days. I doubt we see mass exodus like we used to. I’m not sure if anytime has since NIL began. Of course coach firings cause it but even then classes stay together than they used to

Oh, you can. If you don’t know history, it will repeat itself.

NIL did not kick in until the summer of 2022- that was not because of portal and NIL. But I know some of you like to downplay things.
Counterpoint. He didn’t recruit Hooker and instead started Joe Milton over him. And then spent the most money at the time for a legitimately bad quarterback.

Again, I am not advocating he be fired this year. But I think this is the turning point game for him for most fans. And our schedule gets much harder next year. And we’re going to be starting a true sophomore or true freshman QB

Or it involves good luck-- like our kicker missing a decently easy field goal.

2026 is a top 10 class...

If you get them all signed and on campus. Heupel absolutely has to make a playoff run and a few appearances with Faizon Brandon. That's the type of QB that if you don't win with him everyone should be questioning your ability.

Inge is bringing in some studs at LB...just let him cook. We can already see flashes and TJ White & Brayden Rouse are both higher rated than any guy on campus.

This is true…our most talented players are underclassmen.

True and not true. Max missing was not Kirby. SEC not calling Arnold TD. Tonight, Lagway missed a receiver open by 20 yards.

Overall, great coaches find a way. But this year, they’ve been extremely fortunate.

Lost tonight and didn't have a ton of penalty yards either.

I don't know if we'll have a game this year where all 3 phases play well in the same game.

Special teams tonight: missed FG, missed opportunity to block punt or tackle punter, penalty before punt, another muffed punt by Boo when he had some room to return it.

If GMac or Brandon is legit it’ll be fine. I expect Heup to get a portal QB tho… or maybe they can sue the ncaa for another Joey year

So we knew going into the season the Dodgers would win it........... And the Dodgers won it. I've watched zero games and will continue to watch zero games until they fix MLB to the extent there is any inkling of parody and teams can't just put together super rosters. Make teams invest in rosters, put a cap and floor in place. Relegate underperforming franchises.

That guy may be cool. But I can tell you the one sitting a few seats down from me was basically begging for an ass whooping. Watching them celebrate after we essentially gave them the game with every effort we had has been, not pleasant.

It’s funny I honestly can’t think of any impressive plays from OU besides their 3 kicks. They really did nothing to win a game. Crazy

Heupel is coaching too conservatively and too soft. We’re going to build a team of losers if we’re not careful. I’ve been patient for long enough. I think I’m out on Heupel if he doesn’t get serious.

I just don’t think there are any inspiring coaches on offense. Alex Golesh demanded excellence. Joey Halzle looks scared of his own shadow.
Halzle is not it. And heupel is gonna lose any credibility he has as a qb developer if he keeps him employed here. Been sayin it golesh left. Halzle needs to go.

I think we keep 3/4 of this class and flip nobody that moves needles. Is that 3/4 going to flip the program?

I think they are but not next year they will take their lumps. Very hard going to 9 games in conference. I am happy that we can probably spend most of our portal $ on the defensive side.

The WS went 7 games and the 7th game went into extras and the Dodgers were down by a run until the 9th. You missed a hell of a series!
