Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Yeah, the most baffling move the coaches made this season was to insert Sanders at RT. I don't give a flying **** what he is being paid....if it ain't broke don't fix it.
That was coming a mile away. He was going to start game one but for the injury. He played well in his first action against MSU when Perry got hurt.

You have to admit it’s a tough situation because you might lose interest from a future pro tackle if you don’t play him.

That’s definitely not the most baffling move- lol.

Just got home from a gala so I didn't watch the game.

Can someone tell me how we lost when we out gained them by over 100 yards and had significantly less penalties. Lost the TO battle but we threw for 393.

How the hell did we lose?????
Ags threw it to the other team twice while we were rolling, we couldn’t block on crucial downs and he got blind sided for a scoop and score. Defense did aight for being as banged up as they were but they just weren’t playing championship level ball. Then you have Heupel continuing to bleed clocks for no reason and run a 4th down play to a 4-deep TE.

Ags dug the grave and Huepel drove the entire team into it.

Really wondering if this does happen
****ing ******** if it does

Burn the bitch down and start over is
Probably where I’ll be at
That would be a huge failure
It’s gonna. So be prepared. Nothing I’ve seen post UGA has given me confidence this team can win the games that matter. We’ve been a totally different squad since that UGA game. It truly is baffling.

Pretty much lol

Season is over. It’s time to see all the young talent.

Duane morris needs 10-15 carries
Brahme needs 15-20 snaps a game
Ra Jackson needs 15 snaps at least and see how he fills Brazzell role

Now is the time to develop for next year and see where your short falls are. Then portal the hell out of needs and sign this class.

I don’t want to keep seeing kitselman drop passes and other average players continuing to play with no playoff in sight.

People will be pissed when OU gets killed by Bama.

2026 is a top 10 class...

If you get them all signed and on campus. Heupel absolutely has to make a playoff run and a few appearances with Faizon Brandon. That's the type of QB that if you don't win with him everyone should be questioning your ability.

Inge is bringing in some studs at LB...just let him cook. We can already see flashes and TJ White & Brayden Rouse are both higher rated than any guy on campus.

Can we stop the argument of “OMG remember where we were 6 years ago?”

I think everyone is appreciative of Heupel bringing us out of the dregs of SEC play. But this also happened with significant financial commitments, transfer portal making it easier to quickly build a team, and easier recruiting due to NIL.

The goal is championships and at some point you can’t just bring up The fact that Jeremy Pruitt was one of the worst coaches of all time.
Oh, you can. If you don’t know history, it will repeat itself.

NIL did not kick in until the summer of 2022- that was not because of portal and NIL. But I know some of you like to downplay things.

Inge might be able to recruit but his position group has regressed more than anyone else

Had a chance to give them
A second loss in as many games with the potential to lose 2 more after us and fire their coach and we didnt

We went slow and instead of trying to kill
A team and program
We just ****ed up and played like ****

Jesus. I’m sick of this “well look at the injuries” BS. We didn’t lose tonight because of a lack of players and playmakers. Hell, our QB who came onto campus in May just dropped 300+ yards on the number one SEC defense. We lost tonight because of bad play calling, undisciplined football, multiple missed assignments, and terrible clock management. All of those are also why we lost UGA and Bama. And all of that is 100% on the coach and his staff.

I’ve been a Heupel defender for a while, but after tonight, I’m done defending him. It’s time to step up and right the ship. And if he’s refusing to make the changes necessary, well then maybe it’s time we have some rough conversations with the head football coach.

It 100% is, because either you trust him or you don't. They didn't just insert him and say "lets ride"...nah the first 2 games he played in they rotated 2-3 different OL and we looked bad in different ways depending on who they put out.

Heard, Moe, Satterwhite (at one point), Perry, Sanders
Heard, Sham, Sam, Moe, Perry
Heard, Moe, Sam, Perry, Sanders

Like if the only change is Sanders is back, then go with the 5 you wanted before the season...rotating other guys around because Sanders was healthy made zero sense and that was purely a coaching decision. Nothing to do with injuries or anything. You go from 1 new face to now having 2 or 3 guys playing in different spots than they had been.

Still no elite corners or safeties committed
