Me and MRS-POSSUM are taking a break soon and was wanting to stay a couple of days. We've not been and it kind of looks like a German themed Gatlinburg to me.

Any recommendations on places to eat or things to do?

I've been but it was more than 20 years ago. Don't know what's there now

I remember I had one of those fart machines with the keychain remotes and had a great time with my brothers who were in their teens at the time

We have been. There was a place entering the town that had fantastic pork belly. Don’t remember the name of the place. There’s also an excellent ice cream but don’t remember the name of it either.

I am not trying to tell anyone their business, but buying ESPN's stand-alone app is not the solution. You are going to be subjected to far more commercials than you would on any other streaming service, it's already worse than it's ever been and really makes watching games feel more like a chore.

ESPN is not changing their business model. It's up to us to put our foot down and say we don't accept it.

Doesn't matter. They're Notre Dame. As long as they only have two losses, they'll be in. Easiest path to the playoffs.

Wife and I went there with a couple of friends last year. Enjoyed it very much. But we mostly just walked around eating and having German lagers at various random places. It’s nicer than Gatlinburg IMO, which has gotten way way way too crowded.
