I somehow got games on the ESPN app- I think we have a bundle with ESPN+. But I’m avoiding paying Disney anything more. The networks were the reason for conference re-alignment, and now they play around with the contracts.

What a small world. My grandparents grew up in Navarro County and lived in Streetman when I was young. They are both buried in Navarro County. I had otter extended family in the area.

What horror movies have you all been enjoying this halloween season?

My top 2 so far have been 1) Bring Her Back and a close 2nd) Weapons

You want new releases?

New GDT Frankenstein coming to Netflix soon. Saw it at the Paris theater during its limited release last week and had a blast.

Bring her back and weapons were great, companion was pretty solid earlier this year too. Loved sinners but I know this board probably decided against it. Nosferatu was fun. 28 years later very good. Him was bad and I think didn’t even do a great job showcasing the football elements… so much better football horror could be done than what they did (I want a realistic CTE horror nightmare movie bad…)

Enjoyed The Shrouds but cronenberg isn’t for everyone even at his most sympathetic. There is a horror movie out rn called Good Boy where the pov and main character is a dog that looks fun, it’ll stream soon too. If you have Shudder there are tons of great movies on there (and some terrible!) one I found recently was The Rule Of Jenny Pen and it was excellent. I love John Lithgow.

If you’re interested in world cinema I have a lengthy list of Korean and Japanese horror too lol but maybe that’s for another time

It's broadcast on ABC for free so the app has access.

Anything actually airing on an ESPN brand you can't access, as a you tube tv subscriber.
