most teams don’t play teams with a pulse. she has a connection with this team, and it’s a great opportunity for a D2 school to play in a place like TBA. there’s a reason they’re called exhibition games.

I laughed my *** off tonight when a source sent me screenshots of a paywall site message forum of the game. Let’s just say a group of fellow SEC fans (SC & LSU) were salty as a mug talking about the Lady Vols. And it’s a few fake LV fans lurking on here and way more active over there that brown nose worse than a hound dog kissing up to those same SC, LSU, ND, Virgina Tech, Texas, Oklahoma fans etc. that can’t stand to see the incredible success Coach Caldwell and the Lady Vols are building since year 1.
From what was sent to me that paywall site Skim with these so called recruiting experts and sources is a joke.

A lot of players looked really good tonight (all the freshman looked poised and game ready) but Barker really stood out to me. She looks ready to have a break-out season and she the physical tools, skills, and experience to be a beast on conference play. Of course, this was against an overmatched team but you can draw some inferences from how players move on the court.

The game was in many ways went the way I expected. The new players were mostly as exciting and skilled as advertised. A couple of things that were notable to me if not surprising were the poise and court awareness of Mia and Joniah. Viewed in person, it was clear that both of those players had awareness of where everyone was and typically made extremely effective choices on offense, with a combined 33 points on 50% shooting, 11 assists and 0 turnovers. They both also showed the same court awareness on defense, with a combined 11 steals and 14 rebounds. I loved the intense yet calm demeanor of both. Remarkable performance by Mia to do all of this her first LV game, regardless of the competition.

to me the stand-outs were Barker, Mia, Ruby, Civil and Coop

Mia seemed like a real sweetheart in the after game interview. She was obviously raised very well and will be easy to cheer for. The fans here will adore her.

I was very impressed with all of the recruits and transfers. Even Hurst is more mobile than I expected and I look forward to seeing how she shoots the three. The other freshmen all seem to have nice outside shots. And they all seem aggressive. In basketball the most aggressive team wins the vast majority of the time.

The happiest person on the team has to be Cooper. Coach went out and got her a ton of help. Teams won't be able to key on her anymore, especially for the game ending shot.

Am I to understand that there are members of VolNation, who pretend to be genuinely somber and pessimistic Lady Vol fans, while posting messages about how much better our opponents are in this forum?

How disillusioning this is .... 🤔

My biggest takeaway from tonight? Kim Caldwell looks great with long hair, but she doesn't need to lose any more weight.

Go Lady Vols!!!!!
