The Atlanta Braves

It's hilarious how awful we are on 3rd and 4th down.
Matchup downs. We've got a few that are easy to pick on. Sucks, but can be fixed in 26.

Neyland is going to be otherwordly and I'm hoping that makes a big enough difference
It's not an accident that the only team to beat us in Neyland since 21 is UGA. We are tough to beat at home. We should be getting the LSU treatment with how good our night environment has become.
We are going to beat Oklahoma.

Gotta think Heup is still the guy pulling the trigger. For the most part, we've gotten back to a 2022-esque level of creativity with the offense, and I think that's because Heup has a QB he trusts again.

Golesh is undoubtedly a good offensive coach but I think his impact on the offense might have been overstated.
People thinking a guy who has Chip Kelly'd college football for the last 15 years just suddenly forgot how to run an offense was the dumbest thing ever.

Everyone is trying to replicate what Heupel does. We have the original. The one of one. It has always been his offense and he has always been the guy calling plays. Part of our game/clock management issues are probably tied to him being caught up running the offense instead of running the team. Losing Golesh was impactful because we had a HC caliber guy sitting in the box during the games and helping with gameplans. That absolutely matters but the guy driving the car hasn't changed.

Podcast completed. I will post the YouTube link in the morning. Also not to brag, but I wrote the episode description for Dark Mode and liked it enough to share here:

It's becoming a new annual tradition for the Tennessee Volunteers, it is Dark Mode week! We first break down the victory against Kentucky and discuss how terrifying it must be to play against the Volunteer offense. Then we breakdown why the Tennessee defense continues to give us nightmares. We talk about Oklahoma as they try to navigate the darkness of playing in Neyland Stadium. Oklahoma's offense is not scary, but can Tennessee put enough fear into the Sooners? Or will the Vols defense go pumpkin mode again? Oklahoma's defense is a monster to deal with...but Tennessee might have enough tricks to treat Vol fans to fireworks on Saturday. We also give score predictions that might get Zack kicked out of the Halloween party. In Around the NCAA, Brian Kelly's house of horrors finally came crashing down after a thunderstorm of criticism. In "The Diatribe", Daniel & Zack tell reporters they don't need to share every piece of candy they get with a text message during the coaching carousel. Finally, we discuss how spooky the season can turn for either Oklahoma or Tennessee with a loss.
