I have that I don’t believe in his socialist ideology and plenty of other things that I’ve seen in his past that I disagree with. I guess I can give him a semantics pass here, but I was already critical of the political theater he provided during the original press conference where he was “emotional” about his Dad’s cousin and the Islamophobia that she may or may not have experienced. I think that is confusing because what would you then call your dad's aunt that is the mother to your dad's female cousin that you call "aunt"?

"cousin" is what my family does. not technically correct, but easier than trying to remember if they are second cousins or once removed or whatever.

changing the relation completely seems the most confusing option. but that is one person/cultures answer.

Interesting you say that. My cousin’s daughter has called me her “uncle” since I can remember. Really threw me off the first time I heard her say it. Never asked her mom, so I assume she just told her to call me her uncle out of simplicity or, since she was an Air Force brat and lived overseas a lot while growing up, may have picked it up along the way from other cultures.

Socialism is not slavery in the same way capitalism is not slavery. Slavery can exist under socialism just as it can exist under capitalism. People can enjoy a high degree of personal freedom under socialism just as they can under capitalism too.
