-Their defense is very suspect, but it also seems that if you don't play a near perfect game on offense, you're not going to beat them. See Kentucky.

-A night game at their place is SCARY. Their fans are going to bring the pain, I hope Mateer can handle it.

-This game is really pivotal for the outlook on the rest of this season. Are we man enough to step up and steal one on the road? We're about to find out.

-I am attending this one in person. I have heard nothing but great things. Looking forward to the hospitality I've heard about from other fans.

-Another big weekend, another big SEC matchup. It's going to be a war and the better team will win. I just want to see our offense correct mistakes from Ole Miss and I want to see our o-line cohesively play better than we have all year.

-I am worried about our o-line. Tennessee's defense isn't very good, but their defensive lineman could certainly disrupt things.

I read these and all I hear in my head is hair band metal rock from the 70s/80s: Enter Sandman, War Pigs, Iron Man, thunderstruck, TNT, welcome to the jungle, kickstart to my heart, etc

I don't know the story, but the link to UT with that family is broken. UT fans growing up, and now it's severed. Knowing what I know about both brothers' attitudes, I'm siding with UT on this one.


Oh well, I'm happy for Bill and his side piece to take their drama off our hands.

My #1 worry was and still remains defense. Never thought we did enough to address it in the portal.

I hope somebody flips a switch and we just get at least mediocre defense the next few weeks....I don't see it happening because they somehow seem to be GETTING WORSE.

This offense can not stumble...at all...they have zero room for error or failure thanks this garbage defense we keep throwing out there, which is not fair to expect considering the quality of defenses we are going to be playing.

I will not ignore reality and the reality is this...it will be a monumental achievement for THIS team to win out with the defense playing like this.

I hope you are right...I absolutely love tasty all-you-eat crow buffet...I would gladly scarf it up every Saturday from here on out.

I'm not ignoring reality. I know what the defense is. I just know our offense can outscore basically anyone. Especially average offenses like Oklahoma, Vandy, and Florida.

Just because they talk about Mateer and Pavia on ESPN, doesn't mean they're world beaters. Mateer is barely hitting 200 yards a game since his surgery and Joey Aguilar has 200 more passing yards than Pavia has passing AND rushing yards combined. The way I see it is.... it's the other team that has to play perfect offensively. We don't have to keep up with a 46 points per game offense. They do
