we had a mental case at quarterback last year, so that would be the difference. However, they are doing a really great job and if Staley and Matthews hadn’t dropped so many, they would be a lot higher.

That has nothing to do with now. I don’t believe you’re a Vol fan for a moment. Never an ounce of anything positive. I think you love to bring negative continually and just enjoy it. Many have concerns at times but a handful including you continually dwell 100 percent negatively all the time. If all I could was that I wouldn’t be on a message board. And if you are a fan your handle fits you to a T!GBO

IMHO, there will be other schools that need him worse than we do and that may lead to higher offers coming in.

If we are loaded at the position, would just be bringing a younger one into the field quicker.

You are fake news. I said we have a really good receiving group when they avoid mistakes in this very thread. Not a negative statement. Further, someone asked why one could worry Matthews would transfer. I merely pointed out the fact that he flirted with it last year as being reason why someone might believe he could transfer again. I haven’t said anything negative ITT. Yet here you are, clutching your pearls.

Blah blah, 🤣Anything is possible, I just don’t think he is going for the dollar exclusively. I think last year was more about playing time. I was referring to your constant continual negativity. I have never seen you with a positive post maybe you have made. I call it both ways I have my gripes about the team, there are plenty of post that show that. Other factors are involved and every situation is different. Matthews seems happy right now, I haven’t seen or heard anything to think he would be. Maybe he does, if he does we will pick up somebody. I have been a fan along time. I am not Pearl clutching, I’ve seen the good, bad, ugly. But I will always be a fan and I don’t give up on a season when where still have the chance to make it where we want to. It just tiring seeing the overreactions and absolutes about our coaches and players. Most folks that make wild claims don’t have a clue. So carry on, if I get to tired of you I can always hit the ignore button and so can you. GBO!!!!!!

Yup, WR and OL were two of the biggest worries coming into 2025 and they've ended up being the two biggest strengths of this squad.

You are pearl clutching. Someone asked a question and I answered it. Saying he flirted with leaving last year is not negative, it is simply a fact. I wasn’t even the one who brought up the subject. For it to upset you so much that I said it is the definition of pearl clutching.

early on, Joey had a tendency to underthrow it a little bit and let wide receivers Make plays. Now, he's hitting them in stride. He is quite the adaptable player.

We also haven't had the backbreaking holding calls that would negate the occasional completed deep balls last year.

I wasn’t upset with Matthews at all. Once again who knows what any player will definitely do, anything could happen. I wasn’t clutching. I was more than anything talking in general terms you are always ultra negative about pretty much everything. For a fan you seem constantly upset. I saw Matthews post as another negative, I had just woke up and seen it and posted. I agree that wasn’t a negative comment so there you go. But as I later said in the original statement was you always ultra negative. That was the sole reason for my post. I have never posted much or directly if at all about your comments despite seeing them nearly everyday. Again the Matthews comment had nothing to do with it, I don’t get worked up over what might happen next year but I can see where it might have looked that way. If you have read enough of my comments I address many things that I think we need to improve on or the coaches need to do better. I pull for wins because I am a fan, I can handle loses. I’ve probably watched more games and seen plenty of loses. I’m a cup is half full guy but also a realist. But I don’t dwell negative 24-7, I should have just waited for one of your negative exclusive post that I didn’t agree with. But my comment to you had little to do with Matthews, I should have waited for a better post to respond. Still as far as Matthews or anyone is concerned things change all the time one way or the other. What happened last may not have nothing to do with now. We will know when we know. Think what you want about me, I am not sweating it. GBO!
