Give him an extension! It’s all personnel!
Amen! I made a covenant with the Almighty, as a youth I promised never - upon exit of hair - to defile this beautiful head. But, men should absolutely use hairpieces, hairplugs, and esp hair paint - to hide their bald heads. That way, myself and others can enjoy snickering. There is nothing more enjoyable than a good rug. Esp the one's like the grandpa from Christmas Vacation, where the piece is completely mismatched the the remaining hair.If women can get injections, wigs, implants, paint themselves like a clown, a man can wear a rug on his head. . .

Problem is I do think they have the potential to score more than KY did. Luckily at home and at night
Well didn't it was working as planned all the time, I was just pointing that it is a defensive philosophy. I think it was first widely used by the Chargers in the 70's.Well our defensive philosophy to allow a 71, 28, and 56 yard touchdown pass worked to perfection then. Chess not checkers. Bend and break baby
That’s my biggest problem with banks. His unit is the worst and has been for years. And they brought in major analysts to help him and it’s gotten worse. That’s a bad sign imo.Never said I thought Banks has been good this season. I don’t think 1 season is a fireable offense…he was one of the top coordinators last season.
My argument has been the talent in the backend is cheeks. Only reason Turrentine is here is because he couldn’t see the field at Ohio State.
Wouldn't you say that overall, Ole Miss has a better d than us though (minus our front 4)I think folks got a bit overhyped on them during early season when they were lighting up cupcakes.
PPG: OU scores 28.4, Kentucky 24.1
Total Yards: OU 376.5, Kentucky 361.3
Now, obviously Kentucky benefited from playing us which helped their numbers. But the counter to that is they have had a tougher schedule and only 2 teams held them under 300 total yards both on the road Georgia & South Carolina.
Ole Miss is a shared opponent
Kentucky scored 23 points and racked up 359 total yards losing by 7
Oklahoma scored 26 points and racked up 359 total yards losing by 8
They're pretty close to one another, but like you pointed out the big difference is we get OU in Neyland at night.
All OU needs to do is get to 3rd and long and they will do just fine...This will be the perfect week to play zone the entire game. With our secondary injuries, I won’t complain any. It’s probably our only chance to limit some possessions. Hope that our DL can wreak havoc, hope OU gets some holding penalties, hope Timmy knows how to assign someone to spy Mateer, and hope Mateer makes some bad throws and throws it to us. This is the way this week. We absolutely have to slow down their running game, jump on them early, and make them feel like they have to throw the ball to keep up.

Yeah I know but that won't keep people from calling. I think he is happy here but let's face it in the current world of college football there simply aren't that many elite coaches to fill all of the vacancies and most of the schools are going to be turned down by many of their top choices. It's insane but you almost have to give him something to show him you value him. Everybody is in love with Kiffin but let's face it Heupel has an equal or better resume. Heupel actually got his team in the playoff last year. He's not as cool or sexy but the man can coach. Modern college football AD's and boosters have lost their collective minds. He did receive an extension in August that takes him through 2030.
I think the more pertinent question is to name the coaches that would leave there current situation that warrant spending that kind of money? It's a very small list. Everybody has money now. For the record, I don't think we lose Heupel but I think you have to expect his agent to be fielding calls. Heupel might shut it down without any of us knowing about it but that's not typically how agents work these things. With so many big openings, it’s reasonable to consider someone may come after Heupel
However, has he done enough at Tennessee to warrant you paying $50M+ to fire your current coach to get him?
Not so sure
If he had his current Tennessee record at Miss State - maybe. But Tennessee is a major program.
I’ve enjoyed the Heupel era and think we still have big things ahead. But not sure the big names will want to poach him.
One question…. Is Elander rocking a piece here? This hairline is crazy
